America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has taken Netflix by storm since its premiere last month, quickly flying into the top 10 shows on the streaming platform.
The docuseries, which was released on June 20, follows the elite Texas cheerleading squad and reveals the darker side of the highly-competitive culture.
The series details the rigorous audition process aspiring cheerleaders go through to bag their space on the team of 36, including passing a written football knowledge test, attending prep classes and proving their perfect dance moves.
Behind the glitz and glam, the cheerleaders are also shown facing various struggles, including career-ending injuries, body image issues, measly pay and stalkers.
The firm set of guidelines dancers have to abide by are also revealed, with many focusing on looks – such as staying the same weight, keeping their makeup ‘natural’ and maintaining their long flowing locks.
Viewers watched on as the cheerleaders battled through the intense training camp in a bid to make it in on the squad.
While a second season hasn’t yet been confirmed, many have asked where the fan favourites from season one of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are now.

Reece Weaver
As well as her jaw-dropping dance moves, Reece became known for her relationship with her college boyfriend Will Allman.
She spoke openly about their love story and their Christian faith as her journey was one of the leading stories featured on the program.
The couple got engaged in April 2023, and since filming wrapped, the college sweethearts have tied the knot in front of their loved ones.
The pair said ‘I do’ at The Barn At Cottonwood Ranch in Callahan, Florida, in front of 250 of their family and friends in a stunning outdoor ceremony.
Reece looked every inch the blushing bride in a strapless gown from designer Allison Webb from the designer’s fall 2022 collection.
The wedding, of course, featured a cheerleading performance from the University of Alabama Dance Team while many of her DCC co-stars attended the nuptials.
It also appears that Reece has continued her journey with the DCCs, with the 2023 rookie featuring in a whole string of team posts on social media.

Victoria Kalina
Victoria had a difficult journey with the DCCs and candidly opened up about her struggles with depression and an eating disorder on the show.
She admitted she had never been open about her mental health before as she detailed her struggles.
‘My depression, it turns into this bad cycle and whenever I get into a bad depression, I turn to bad coping skills, which causes bad eating habits,’ she shared on the show.
‘As a dancer, the hardest thing you can fight are eating disorders plus depression.’
Victoria ultimately decided to hang up her cowboy boots after four years – one year short of the usual tenure – and recently shared a huge life change with her followers.
In a recent YouTube video, Victoria revealed she is locating to New York City in an exciting new step in the hopes of becoming a Rockette.

In an interview with Glamour, Victoria also gushed that she is very ‘excited to date’ when she moves to the Big Apple.
Ariana McClure
Ariana had a difficult journey with the DCC after being left devastated when she was cut from the 2023 training camp.
In her second year making the squad, the esteemed dancer missed out on the final squad as she was one of the last hopefuls cut in a heartbreaking decision.
The judges ultimately decided she was too short after she was put through her paces during the intense training camp process.
However, she hasn’t given up her cheerleading dreams and has gone on to join the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders.
She confirmed the exciting news in an Instagram post last month, where she wrote that ‘everything happens for a reason.

She penned: ‘If I’ve learned anything, it’s that everything happens for a reason and I couldn’t be more excited to announce I’m officially an NFL CHEERLEADER.
‘I woke up this morning still trying to comprehend that this is really happening! The past three years have truly shown that God will move mountains to get you to where you’re meant to be and I’ve never felt more assured that this was His plan all along!
‘There’s no words to explain the love and appreciation I have for all of the people who have pushed me and believed in me.’
Charly Barby
Charly was another DCC hopeful who was left devastated after being cut from the training camp.
However, she will not be giving up on her dreams and told on the show how she will be returning next year for a second run at securing her place on the 2024 squad.
In a recent Instagram post, she also gushed about her love for the DCCs, despite her disappointment and teased that she will be trying out once again.
‘If you told me at the beginning of this year that I was going to make it to the last cut in Training Camp I would have never believed you. I am so honored,’ she shared.
‘The amount of hard work, determination and dedication it takes to chase this dream is unlike anything, and I absolutely thrive off of it.
‘I could go on and on about how much I love I have for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders & how incredible this summer has been.’
‘I’ll see you next year,’ she concluded her post.

The pair have also remained close with veteran cheerleader Reece and both attended her fairytale wedding to Will last month.
Kelcey Wetterberg
Team captain Kelcey marked her final year as a DCC in 2023 and had an emotional farewell with the elite squad on the Netflix docuseries.
Since hanging up her pom poms, Kelcey has continued her day job as a full-time pediatric nurse and also continues to show her support for the cheerleading team.
She told how being team captain was one of her biggest challenges as well as the one of the best years of her life in a recent social media post.
She fondly wrote: ‘Leading this team has been one of the most rewarding, yet challenging, positions I’ve held. Thank goodness I got to do it with the best team.’
Kelcey is also set to tie the knot with her fiancé Nate Crnkovich later this year, and recently teased that she has already picked out her wedding dress.
Taking to social media, she revealed that she has selected a gorgeous gown from a&bé bridal shop in Dallas, Texas, ahead of the big day.

Caroline and Anna Kate Sundvold
During her time on the show, Caroline was a recent DCC retiree who continued to work closely with the team and mentored her younger sister and hopeful Anna Kate.
She continued to get wrapped up in the cheerleading craze as she guided her sister through the intense process, helping her to secure a spot on the elite squad.
Caroline was awarded the 2023 Veteran of the Year Award, but was forced to retire that same year because of injuries sustained during her time on the team.
As well as continuing to support the DCC, Caroline is also working as an account manager for medical equipment manufacturer Stryker, according to LinkedIn.
With Caroline’s help, Anna Kate made the team as a rookie in 2023 and is officially trialing again for a veteran spot on the 2024 squad.
She is also still dating her boyfriend Michael Snyder and continues to work in financial planning services as well as pursuing her DCC dreams.
