It is a fascinating true crime docuseries about the woman whose crime hunting innovations changed history.
Dr. Ann Burgess, a specialist in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit who transformed how authorities look into serial murders, is at the center of the three episode documentary series as she also joined the star at the event.
In an effort to find new an innovative ways to stop serial killers, Dr. Burgess took the tactic of first learning to think like a serial killer, while also studying the damaged psyches of victims and their attackers.
For the Fanning sisters, the docuseries allowed them to create space for ‘an unsung female hero to tell her story for the first time,’ according to a statement they shared with Entertainment Weekly.
‘It’s deeply empathetic towards victims and their loved ones, a real journey through the lens of the psychology of profiling, and ultimately a galvanizing message,’ the sisters maintained in their statement to EW.
‘If one person can make such sweeping changes for the better, what’s to say the rest of us can’t be agents of positive cultural change in the same way in whatever field we’re in?’

‘That, plus her bravery and conviction, made us immediate fans,’ the Fannings explained, before adding, ‘She was underestimated but still persisted until she changed the entire landscape.’
Dr. Burgess, 87, who is a professor at the William F. Connell School Of Nursing at Boston College, was all smiles on the red carpet with Fanning dressed black pants and top with a white blazer with black pinstripes.
Fanning and Burgess would also make a point to pose together with Fuller, and then the trio took part in a group photo with executive producers Ross M. Dinerstein, Rebecca Evans, Rebecca Halpern, Leslie Chilcott, and Dani Sloane.
