Dakota Fanning has opened up about her dating life and recalled how protective sister Elle once accidentally spat on her unkind ex.
The actress, 31, who is currently single, revealed she was searching for Mr Right on celebrity dating Raya with her desire to one day start a family.
Recalling fellow actress Elle, 27, coming to her rescue after she was treated poorly, Dakota said: ‘She accidentally spat her drink out on the man’.
While the likes of Charlize Theron, Channing Tatum and Joe Jonas are known to have used the exclusive app, the I Am Sam star admitted she signed up reluctantly.
Speaking about the dating sites downside Dakota fumed over every potential partner seemingly sharing shirtless photos of themsleves half way up a mountain.
‘Every man is like “Must love mountain biking, and want to go on a hike, and want to be really adventurous and outdoorsy, must love dogs and want to go to the summit of Everest”. I’m like, no, I don’t want to do any of that and if I do I’ll do it when I want to’.

She went on to tell The Times her lifelong dream of starting a family and despite her Hollywood career would love to live on a farm with a gaggle of kids.
‘Being a mother is the pinnacle to me. It’s the thing I can’t wait for most in my life, can’t remember a time when I didn’t want kids. For whatever reason it is something in me’.
In the past, Dakota has been romantically linked to British model Jamie Strachan in 2013-2016, commercial real estate broker Logan Markley in 2016-2017, and New Englander Henry Frye in 2017-2018.
In 2016, the Perfect Couple star confessed that she found dating ‘in general, horrific.’
‘We have to sit there and ask these questions and pretend to eat a meal, and it just feels so stiff,’ Dakota (born Hannah) lamented to Town & Country.
‘The way I prefer to meet someone is through a friend’ because that way they’re ‘most likely not a freak.’
Meanwhile Elle is currently dating Gus Wenner, 34, with the pair making their red carpet debut at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
The couple have been together since November 2023 and often share pictures of their adventures together on Instagram.

Gus was recently named the Executive Chairman of Rolling Stone, after serving as CEO of the magazine co-founded by his father Jann Wenner, 79.
He shared a photo with his dad on Instagram upon his promotion.
