The company also announced today that it has received an initial order for 30,000 bottles of spirits for the US market from its distributor there, The Lucas Bols Company.

The company launched its first products in early 2018 and now produces a range of award-winning spirits including peated Irish whiskey.

The Muff Liquor Company was created in 2017 by local entrepreneur Laura Bonner, who is now its CEO.

Laura is the daughter of Brazilian journalists Fatima Bernades and William Bonner who were married from 1990 to 2016.

Russell had already been in the British Isles as he had performed at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday.

The Academy Award winner performed on the Acoustic Stage of this year’s festival which saw British band Coldplay make history.

When Russell was last in the British Isles in April, he shocked fans of BBC’s The One Show when he debuted a completely clean-shaven look.

The Gladiator star left viewers confused about who the BBC programme’s guest was, with some mistaking him for John Goodman.
