Duncan James has faced backlash after he revealed he had undergone an advanced facial treatment.
The Blue member, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday as he shared a detailed clip of him receiving a byonik cellular rejuvenation treatment at Re-Skin clinic in South Sheffield.
The singer gave fans a behind the scenes look at the treatment as he filmed Rebecca Elsden massaging his head.
Yet not all were happy as they urged the star to ‘leave his face alone’.
Hooked up to complicated looking equipment, Rebecca explained that the treatment required a pulse triggered low level laser.

As they monitored his pulse, the laser is designed to be triggered the moment his heart beats.
This means his skin cells are full of oxygen, providing the optimum time to receive the energy from the laser which energises skin cells and intensively hydrates the skin.
Duncan revealed that because he suffers from skin condition Rosacea, the laser helps reduce any inflammation, perfect for his skin type.
The star looked fully relaxed throughout the treatment, as Rebecca massaged his face.
At the end of the procedure, Duncan gushed: ‘This is the finished result and my skin is absolutely glowing’.
He captioned the post: ‘ This is me having a @byonik_official facial treatment by the fabulous @rebeccaelsdonadvancedskin ! Check it out ! Amazing results !!!! Loved it !!’
Yet fans urged Duncan not to get carried away as they expressed their negative opinions on the star’s treatments.
One wrote: ‘Please leave your face alone your good looking too much ruins it’. [sic]
A second added: ‘Well u have the money for it’ and another chimed: ‘You do realise there’s this thing that happens to people called ageing…’

However some fans seemed to support Duncan’s treatment, as another fan commented that she too had visited the clinic: ‘I had one there yesterday and it was amazing!’
Another added: ‘This is fabulous, I would like to try it! You have glowing skin!’
It comes after Duncan was left completely stunned as he was crowned winner of the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook Off on Wednesday.
He blew the judges away with his sensational Christmas dinner as he served up a superb turkey wellington.
With beautifully golden pastry, the judges were amazed as they cut into the parcel to find perfectly cooked turkey and stuffing, with Gregg Wallace even likening the meal to a restaurant worthy dish.
It seemed Duncan couldn’t believe the news as he appeared visibly shocked and exclaimed: ‘Are you serious?!’
Upon biting into Duncan’s turkey, John asked: ‘Duncan, next year, I’m coming to your place for Christmas.’
While Gregg told him: ‘That is stunning. I’m not kidding you when I say I would expect to find food of this quality in a really good restaurant.’
