Two Australian mummy bloggers have been slammed by a popular influencer podcast for posting photos of their children’s hospital visits to social media.

Margaux Follis and Georg Woulfe recently posted photos to Instagram of their children going to hospital for a medical emergency and were criticised by followers for sharing the private moment.

Follis shared snaps of her toddler daughter Fleur being taken away in an ambulance and strapped into a hospital bed after she had a seizure.

‘5.11.23 – Probably the scariest day of my life. I don’t wish what I went through to anyone. You hear about febrile seizures but you don’t realise how frightening it is until it happens to your own kid,’ she wrote next to the photos.

Meanwhile, Woulfe posted something similar in a now deleted Instagram post.

Identical triplets Amy, Kate and Sophie Taeuber were not impressed and launched a scathing tirade against the mummy bloggers on their Outspoken podcast.

‘Margaux is an influencer and to me it comes across like she is sharing her kids for content and she also added a million hashtags to the post,’ one sister said.

‘It’s clear she was trying to get as many people seeing this as possible. Hashtag insensitive and vulgar.’

Follis’ post quickly ruffled the feathers of her followers who questioned why she would share such a private moment on social media.

‘Kids are not content. Taking a picture of your child during a terrifying and vulnerable moment. Do your children not deserve any privacy?’ one upset follower sniped.

However, Margaux was having none of it and immediately responded with a snarky comment: ‘Totally fine with it, babe. Your life will be much better without my “toxic” content.’

Margaux added she wasn’t having a ‘photoshoot’ and posted the hospital snaps to ‘raise awareness’ of the dangers of Febrile seizures.

The Taeubers’ did not accept that explanation and said a better way to raise ‘awareness’ of a condition affecting young children would be to post the photos much later, when the child was safely out of hospital.
