Cricket WAG Emma Lyon dazzles in sheer black dress as she arrives with husband Nathan at Glamour on the Grid – just months after revealing the gender of their first child together

Emma and Nathan Lyon looked every inch the loved up couple as they stepped out at Glamour on the Grid in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

The happy couple recently revealed the gender of their first child together, more than a year after welcoming their baby girl to the world.

Now the pair are all smiles as they glam up and enjoy a night out together, with Emma flaunting her physique in a sheer black dress.

The sparkling frock featured a corset bodice with visible boning before skimming down into a short train. 

Emma opted for a rosy lip tint and a smoky eye as she added a soft wave to her long blonde locks. 

The mother-of-one wrapped her arm around her champion cricketer, 36, who looked smart in a classic black tuxedo.

Their outing comes after Emma finally confirmed the pair welcomed a baby girl to the world in September 2023. 

They made the reveal in October 2024, with Nathan now a father to three girls as he shared two children with his ex-partner Mel Waring.

Emma posted two images of her daughter to Instagram at the time, captioning the photos with ‘Mini me’.

In one of the pictures, the youngster could be seen wearing a T-shirt which read ‘daddy’s girl’.

There was no indication Emma was expecting prior to her daughter’s birth, with the glamour couple doing an amazing job of keeping the pregnancy under wraps.

She attended the 2023 Ashes tour in the United Kingdom with the rest of the Australian team’s WAGs after marrying Nathan in July 2022.

Emma appeared to have carefully edited photos she posted on her Instagram to avoid any shots which would give away a pregnancy.

Even when spotted by paparazzi, Emma was wearing an overcoat which would have covered any tell-tale signs.

The fiercely private couple also kept their engagement a secret before they were eventually married.

Emma and her bowling beau’s relationship began in scandalous circumstances, as they had been caught kissing in Perth in late 2017 while Nathan was still with Mel.

Mel detailed their heartbreaking split in a blog post in March 2018.

She said on social media her pain was ‘real and deep’ and recounted nights when she would lie in bed with her children and cry.

‘I didn’t ask for this, this wasn’t the way my life was supposed to be. He was my forever, he was my whole world,’ she wrote.

Mel has since found love with a new man, but has not revealed his identity. 

Nathan and Emma started dating in 2017 and bought their Sydney home together in 2020.

Rumours started to swirl that their engagement was on in 2022.

That was later confirmed when Emma was spotted with a hefty ring on her wedding finger at the fourth Test against India at the Gabba.

She also posted about her search for a wedding dress on Instagram.
