Craig Conover on New Year’s Eve attended a party thrown by pals Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson following his unexpected breakup with Paige DeSorbo.
The 35-year-old Southern Charm star, who runs the retailer Sewing Down South, ushered in 2025 at a luxe Aspen, Colorado bash in the wake of his split with the Summer House alum, 32.
DeSorbo on Monday announced she and Conover had parted ways after three years together, keeping the exact reasons private.
Conover, who resides in Charleston, South Carolina, was seen in multiple frames of a post Gretzky, 36, shared to the social media platform with more than one million followers.
The reality TV star, who has past vacationed with Gretzky and the golfer Johnson, 40, donned a blue sweater with khaki slacks and brown shoes to the year-ending gathering.
Other partygoers at the event included Gretzky’s sister Emma Gretzky, 21, journalist Scott Shilstone, hair colorist Jeremy Cohen and interior designer Amy Lee McArdle among others, according to tags from the social media post.

The venue the celebrity couple held the event at included a champagne tower flanked with bottles of Veuve Clicquot, with multiple gold and off-white balloons adding to the decor.
Conover told People earlier this month that he saw wedding bells in his future with DeSorbo, as he had quit drinking, motivated by a desire to ‘become more of a husband and father material’ for her.
‘We’re playing the long game. It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation that we’re building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun,’ Conover said on December 5, speaking about their relationship.
Confident about their future at the time, he added, ‘We know we’re going to get married one day, and when it happens, it’ll be a lot of fun, but whenever that is, who knows?”
Looking ahead, Conover also reflected on their plans for family life.
‘We’ve got a couple years probably until we start having kids, and then we’ll have to figure it out,’ he said, adding with a laugh, ‘But I’ve really taken to this normal role now of being a happy wife, happy life.’
He also reflected on their long-distance relationship, emphasizing their commitment to making it work.
‘Finding your person is the hard part,’ he said, adding that they plan to figure out logistics later, with the goal of staying home with their future children as much as possible.

Meanwhile, DeSorbo left fans reeling when she shared the split news on her Giggly Squad podcast on Monday, describing the breakup as amicable while staying guarded about the specific reasons behind it.
Fighting back tears, the reality star admitted discussing the breakup publicly felt ‘weird,’ but she made it clear she holds only positive feelings for Conover.
‘I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends,’ she said, adding, ‘No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.’
DeSorbo went on to describe their decision as a mature one, saying, ‘I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want. And I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.’
One distraught fan took to Twitter to post, ‘i am actually sad over this. i really thought at some point she would come around and actually commit to him. but will make for some good show as he navigates through the break up.’
Another wrote, ‘Aww that’s sad I really thought they would be together for a long time.’
Yet another chimed in, ‘Craig was definitely ready for marriage and maybe Paige wasn’t at that point yet. Plus I don’t think either wanted to move. It’s too bad they were a cute couple.’
DeSorbo remained tight-lipped about the exact reasons behind her breakup with Conover but described the past few years as ‘very transformative,’ noting that both she and Conover had experienced significant growth and change during their time together.

While she didn’t specify when they officially ended their relationship, the pair appeared to still be on good terms as recently as last month when they celebrated Thanksgiving at her parents’ home in upstate New York.
‘He’s definitely the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. Like, I can truly say that,’ DeSorbo shared, reflecting on their time together.
‘He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it almost is harder when no one’s done anything to be mad about, and that’s hard.’
As of Thursday, Conover has yet to comment on the split.
Trouble in paradise may have started brewing as far back as 2022 when Conover admitted the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship with DeSorbo.
One distraught fan took to Twitter to post, ‘i am actually sad over this. i really thought at some point she would come around and actually commit to him. but will make for some good show as he navigates through the break up’
‘You know, long-distance is working for us. We’re fortunate that we’re on the East Coast, so it’s only an hour flight, but it is getting harder and harder,’ Conover told Page Six at the time.
The Southern Charm star was based in South Carolina, while DeSorbo lived in New York – a setup that, despite their efforts, wasn’t without strain.
Adding a touch of humor, Conover’s co-star Shep Rose, who was part of the same interview, teased him for diving too quickly into relationships.
‘Well, Craig, every time Craig dates a girl for longer than two weeks, he starts talking about baby names,’ Rose, 42, joked.
The couple officially went public with their romance on Instagram in December 2022 after months of swirling rumors and speculation.
