Two months after suffering a miscarriage, Courtney Stodden and her boyfriend Jared Safier expanded their family by adopting a cute black kitten named Onyx.
The 29-year-old former teen bride announced the furry new addition on Tuesday by sharing a cleavage-filled photo shoot with her adorable cat.
Courtney – who boasts 539K social media followers – captioned her Instagram slideshow: ‘Say hi to Onyx! Thank you @bestfriendsanimalsociety for helping millions of rescue animals find loving homes #rescue.’
Stodden only had to pay a $25 adoption fee to the Utah-based nonprofit organization – founded in 1984 – which claims to be the ‘largest no-kill sanctuary in the States.’
Little Onyx has already bonded with the Washington State-born vegan’s white Pomeranian Cartier aka Mickey Mui Mui, and she also has another small terrier.

Courtney – who’s been meat-free for 14 years – is a big supporter of organizations like Mercy for Animals and PETA.
Stodden and Safier are still grieving the March 9th loss of their child at ‘around 10 weeks.’
‘It’s been a roller coaster of emotions,’ the brunette bombshell admitted in a since-deleted post.
‘I feel grief in every sense of the word. Even though, I suppose, early is better than later… yet it still is a loss and I can’t shake the feeling of loneliness that comes with it. I’m sharing this to shine light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it’s still a loss.
‘I’ve tried to keep this to myself, just a few close relatives and friend know – but I thought it was important to just accept the fact and hopefully find some peace as there is strength in numbers.’
Courtney began dating Jared in August after meeting on the set of an undisclosed film, according to TMZ.
At 41, the four-time Daytime Emmy winner is 12 years older than Stodden – who ended her six-year relationship (and two-year engagement) to her 44-year-old manager Chris Sheng last July.
