Courteney Cox tried to take part in the viral Hands In Challenge with one of her dogs… but the pooch didn’t exactly cooperate.
The actress shared a video with one of her dogs – Lily and Bear – a pair of practically identical Cavalier King Charles Spaniels – on Sunday, a month after celebrating her 60th birthday.
She also shared a number of videos of successful Hands In Challenge videos… before showing how one of her dogs adorably failed.
The challenge has two dog owners putting one of their hands on top of the other owner’s hands, seeing if their dog will put their paw on top of theirs.
The video – set to The Turtles’ 1967 hit Happy Together – eventually gets to Courteney and one of her dogs… who doesn’t respond in kind.

Instead of the pooch putting its paw on Courtney and another woman’s hand (possibly her daughter Coco, 20), the dog just nudges the hands out of the way and walks under their arms, much to Cox’s chagrin.
‘She’s cute. She’s got that going for her,’ Cox said in the caption of her post, which got over 48K likes since posting on Sunday.
This isn’t the first time she’s shared her adorable pooches with her 15.1 million Instagram followers.
Back in April 2023, she took to Instagram to share a music video she made, starring her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
‘I got bored and decided to make my dogs a music video,’ she wrote in a text overlay on the clip.
The adorable work of art was set to Lizzy McAlpine’s viral TikTok song ‘Ceilings’ and featured Courteney in a number of different positions as she attempted to capture the best shots of her four-legged stars.
Though most of the clip had a slow-motion dreamy aesthetic, it hilarious ended with an abrupt cut of the music.
The video came to a hilarious end when one of the dogs began humping the other, with a dismayed Courtney telling them, ‘Stop, that’s too much!’

She’s set to return as Gale yet again in the seventh Scream movie, which doesn’t have an official title and is in pre-production.
She also served as a producer on Shining Vale and an executive producer on the sixth Scream movie.
Cox will also executive produce a new Last Chance U TV series based on the true story of Brittany Wagner
