The actress, who starred as Monica Sutton on , was the daughter of You Only Live Twice star Donald Pleasance and his first wife, Miriam Raymond.
Angela landed her first major film role in 1973 with Hitler: The Last Ten Days, going on to star in several horror movies including From Beyond the Grave and Symptoms.
She also appeared in many period dramas, playing Catherine Howard in The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Lady Bertram in Mansfield Park and Mrs Grantly in The Barchester Chronicles.
Angela's agency paid tribute to the late star in a statement that noted her career highlights.
It read: 'We are very sad to announce the passing of our dear client, Angela Pleasance. We were honoured to represent Angela, who built a career of quiet distinction spanning more than five decades.'

The statement continued: 'After training at RADA, she made her stage debut in 1964 as Titania in a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Repertory Theatre.
'She went on to perform at the National Theatre and in the West End in productions including Ghetto, The Hothouse, and The Cherry Orchard.
'Angela also became closely associated with classic British horror, delivering memorable performances in films such as From Beyond the Grave, The Godsend, and Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York.
'In these roles, she brought remarkable depth and unease to complex, often enigmatic characters.
'Alongside her film work, Angela remained a constant presence on British television, with credits ranging from period drama to modern series such as Doctor Who and Happy Valley.
'She was also well known for her portrayal of Catherine Howard in the BBC series The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

'While never defined by any one genre, her contribution to the British industry remains a distinctive and much-admired part of her legacy. Our thoughts are with her family at this very sad time.'

Angela was introduced to the acting world by her father Donald, who was famed for his role as Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld (pictured, right, with Sean Connery)

Donald also starred as psychiatrist Dr. Samuel Loomis in Halloween and four of its sequels.
He was appointed an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his services to drama by Queen Elizabeth II in 1994.
Donald died in 1995 at the age of 75 after marrying four times and welcoming five daughters.
He shared Angela and her sister Jean with his first wife Miriam, whom he was married to from 1941 to 1958. He went on to welcome Lucy and Polly with Josephine Martin Crombie whom he was married to from 1959 to 1970.
Donald shared Miranda with third wife Meira Shore, married between 1970 and 1988).
He married Linda Kentwood in 1988 and the pair were together until his death.
