Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia has exchanged vows with her husband for the second time – seven years after their first wedding ceremony.
The actress, best known for her role as Rana Habeeb on the ITV soap opera, flew to Mauritius with husband Darren Kuppan for a traditional Tamil blessing in February.
Taking to Instagram, Preston born Limbachia, 39, shared photos from the ceremony with her 104,000 followers on Monday.
Posting a video and photos of herself in an Indian saree, the actress credited a local Mauritian salon for helping transform her into a Tamil bride ahead of her blessing.
Captioning another image – taken following the ceremony – she wrote: ‘9.02.24 Finally had our Tamil wedding blessing in Mauritius.’

The actress originally exchanged vows with Kuppan at an intimate Cheshire service attended by her Coronation Street castmates in July 2018.
At the time Limbachia’s soap character was involved in a secret lesbian affair with Kate Connor, played by Faye Brookes, despite being married to Zeedan Nazir.
Eventually Zeedan discovered the pair in a romantic tryst and immediately told Rana’s conservative family, who condemned her same-sex romance.
Limbachia later revealed she was approached with the storyline twenty months ago and was left surprised as her character was a ‘man-eater.’
The actress also admitted that she wanted to do the storyline justice after sourcing inspiration from a boy she knew who committed suicide after struggling to be accepted because of his sexuality.
Coming from an Indian background, Limbachia also admitted that by taking on the role, she wasn’t sure how her mother was going to react.
‘I sat her down and told her I was kissing a girl on screen. She didn’t quite understand, so I told her in Gujarati and she said if you’re going to help people, then you’ve got my full support.’
Rana was eventually killed off in 2019 after being trapped beneath rubble following the Underworld factory collapse.

At the time, Limbachia described Rana’s death as a ‘fitting end’, saying she wouldn’t want her character to ‘just hop in a cab and leave.
The actress also revealed how she filmed amid the rubble for a whole week as she shot her character’s final moments.
Speaking on This Morning shortly after her exit, Limbachia told the show’s former hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield how they shot her scenes.
They were quite insane and difficult. I filmed under rubble for about a week,’ she explained.
‘I was put on a board on wheels and they wheeled me in and out. We had goggles and masks to protect us through the rubble.’
The actress also addressed the ITV soap’s backlash for killing off a lesbian character.
She added: ‘My decision to be killed off was never meant to offend the community. It was purely about two people being in love.’
