Controversial Big Brother contestant Holly Young was booted out of the house during Sunday’s elimination.
As the crowd at Dreamworld roared with approval, there were plenty of tears inside the house as the model hugged and kissed her housemates after she was evicted in a public vote.
During her five weeks on the show, the reality star began a steamy romance with 21-year-old housemate Colin, which she acknowledged in her exit interview.
‘It really is an unforgettable experience,’ she told host Mel Tracina.
Admitting she was ‘shaking’ with emotion, Holly continued: ‘It was a lot harder than I anticipated.
‘Something very, very, very special has come out of it, and I think you guys all know what that is.’

‘So I’m wishing him [Colin] all the very best.’
Elsewhere in the chat, Holly described her Big Brother experience as ‘one hell of a ride’.
‘I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it to the finals, so I’m proud I made it this far,’ she gushed.
As a gesture of solidarity, Holly had named Colin as the final Head Housemate, meaning he’s safe from the next round of nominations.
Meanwhile, Bruce, Conor and Vinnie remain in the house after facing eviction.
Elsewhere in the show, Abiola, who was not up for eviction, sent herself home after she won $15,000 in a money challenge.
Holly stirred up much online debate during her time on the show, with many viewers throwing shade on her relationship with her much younger beau and slamming the romance as ‘not genuine’.
And predictably, Holly’s departure from the Big Brother house was met with glee from many.

‘Don’t cry Colin. Holly’s probably forgotten about you already,’ one keyboard warrior posted on X.
‘The cheers when Holly’s name was announced at Dreamworld. Priceless,’ added another user.
Added a third viewer: ‘Maybe Colin might do something half interesting like get to know his other housemates now that Holly is gone.’
A fourth Big Brother fan left no doubt about where they stood with the latest eviction:
‘Holly is out? THANK GOD!’
It comes after fans accused Holly of using Colin as a way of staying in the house after a video showed her acting completely differently once she spotted the cameras.
The video, which was reposted on TikTok, saw a flurry of fans take to the comments section to point out Holly’s tactics on the show.
‘Couples make it to the end. Smart move!’ one person simply wrote, implying she was trying to win Big Brother by staging a romance.
Another fan added: ‘She is playing for the cameras.’
‘There’s no way she will make it to the end when it’s clear it’s absolutely not genuine,’ another person predicted.
Other viewers took pity on Colin, accusing Holly of ‘using him’ to get ahead.
‘She’s a mess and using him,’ a disgruntled fan wrote, with another chiming in: ‘Bye, Holly. Stop playing with Colin’s emotions.’
