Kat Clark has announced she will be moving to America with her family.
The controversial Gold Coast influencer told her followers on Tuesday night, she will be relocating to the US with her husband Jonathan and their 14-year-old daughter Deja.
She explained the move will be a challenge as she will have to make new friends and will be leaving her eldest daughter Latisha, 21, in Queensland.
While some of Kat’s fans praised her courage, others questioned why she had made the decision to relocate to the US.
‘What’s drawn you to move there? Remember to get health insurance,’ one person said.
‘Going to LA in search of experience, fame and money but you become a whole new different type of influencer. No longer a down to earth relatable mum really. Hope it goes well but doubt I will find the content to my liking anymore,’ another said.

‘Scary times to be making the move,’ a third agreed while one added: ‘As someone living in America I highly recommend you don’t move here.’
‘At a time where Australians and those around the world are advised to steer clear of the US, you decide to move there. Best of luck!’ another said.
‘You honestly can’t even compare US and Australia. Definitely strange you would leave such a safe country,’ one wrote.
However one person commented: ‘SO EXCITED FOR YOUUU!!!’
‘We’re all so happy for you. But sure will miss you a lot!!!’ another said as one added: ‘Congratulations guys! We going to miss you here.’
‘You can always come back home if needed❤️ So proud of you!!’ another commented.
‘Oooo that’s so exciting, what part of America are you moving to?’ one person asked.
In the video shared with her followers on Tuesday night, Kat said: ‘We’re moving to America. Oh my goodness, I’m so scared about telling you.’

‘Australia is a beautiful country. We have free healthcare, the best beaches, amazing people. And if I’m being completely honest, there’s a huge part of me that doesn’t want to go,’ she said.
‘But there’s also a part of me that’s feeling curious … and I don’t want to have any regrets.’
She explained she’s had some opportunities in America and is ‘going to give it a go’ but admitted she is ‘scared’.
‘I really hope you guys understand, because if I’m being honest, I need all the support I can get. This is scary,’ Kat told her followers.
She promised to share more details and answer any questions ahead of their move to the US.
