The beloved ITV quiz show The Chase made its return to British TV screens this week after a long break off air.
And the show on Thursday evening ended with a bang as contestants Karen and Ian jumped for joy after bagging a whopping £100k prize.
In the episode, Karen and Ian were the last contestants standing and they managed to get 16 questions correct with Bradley Walsh testing them before taking on Chaser Paul Sinha, 54.
Paul, who had his game face on, was raring to go as he started answering the questions with ease.
However, he had a few bumps along the way as he got several questions wrong and both of the contestants pushed him back.

In Thursday’s episode, Karen and Ian were the last contestants standing and they managed to get 16 questions correct with Bradley Walsh testing them before taking on Chaser Paul Sinha
During the 13th question, the clock showed the Chaser only had 22 seconds left to get the last three questions correct.
However, Paul shockingly got the 15th question wrong leaving only eight seconds left on the clock.
Both contestants appeared tense as they pondered over what the answer could be, however, devastatingly they answered the question incorrectly.
Bradley then asked Paul: ‘Lesley Manville played the widow Cathy in what BBC sitcom?’
Paul appeared dumbstruck before answering the question incorrectly and Bradley said: ‘Stop the clock that’s wrong.’
Both of the contestants then turned to one another to discuss what the answer could be and Ian suggested Eastenders before Karen quipped ‘It’s a comedy’.
And as host Bradley pushed for an answer, Karen quickly responded with ‘Eastenders’.
Bradley shockingly revealed that the pair had got the answer wrong and revealed the correct one was ‘mum’.

A devastated Karen then looked defeated as Bradley gave the Chaser his last chance to get the last question correct in just one second.
However, the Chaser simply did not have enough time to even answer the question before Karen exclaimed ‘Yes!’ and the pair embraced each other for a hug as they bagged £100,000.
It comes after The Chase celebrated its 15th anniversary with a special episode, marking the occasion with a huge format shake-up.
In Monday’s episode, viewers were treated to ‘double trouble’, where two chasers competed against the four contestants.
Host Bradley Walsh broke the news to the team that they would be facing off against not-one-but-two Chasers, first battling Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace before swapping out with Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett.
But that wasn’t the only shake-up for the milestone episode, as the four contestants selected to take part all had the same names as the Chasers – Darragh, Jenny, Paul and Ann.
