Comedian lampoons Blake Lively at the Met Gala as people marvel over how much he looks like her in viral video: ‘Be careful, she will add you to the lawsuit’

A US comedian has gone viral for lampooning actress Blake Lively in several Instagram and TikTok videos online.

LA-based actor Michael Pavano has been wowing followers on social media with his on-point impersonations of a range of A-listers, most notably Lively.

Pavano took to Instagram on Tuesday to offer his impression of the actress if she did attend the 2025 Met Gala.

Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were notably absent at the extravaganza amid the brutal fall-out of her lawsuit with her It All Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

The clip showed Pavano, wearing a white blouse, complete with an alluring hint of chest hair, and a black skirt.

He was also rocking an oversized black sun hat, in an apparent nod to the gargantuan chapeau Blake wears in her latest flick Another Simple Plan.

Staring aloofly into the camera, Pavano is also holding what appeared to be a martini and a black wooden cane with an ornate handle.

While that alone would be enough for a passable impression of the It Ends With Us star, it is Michael’s extraordinary facial expressions that seals the deal.

His pout is eerily identical to Lively’s trademark expression, with many of his followers saying he looks ‘more like Blake than Blake’.

‘POV: Blake Lively if she went to the Met Gala,’ Pavano captioned the hilarious clip.

Pavano’s followers were quick to comment on the cheeky clip, with many pointing out his remarkable ability to contort his face.

‘How do you get the lips so spot on?’ one fan asked, while another jumped in with: ‘Jajaja the mouth it’s the best part. It’s literally the same.’

A third jumped in summing up what many were thinking with: ‘I’m screaming bc that’s exactly how she does her mouth OMG!!!’

Another offered: ‘Watching you makes my top lip curl.’

Meanwhile, some fans have urged the funnyman to take caution when lampooning the A-lister.

On another recent Lively parody clip, one follower warned that Pavano’s actions could land him in court.

‘Blake’s gonna add you to the lawsuit,’ a follower joked, to which another replied: ‘He doesn’t care, he’s winning the internet with this.’

Lively and Reynolds are currently embroiled in a legal and public controversy surrounding the actress’ film It Ends With Us.

The drama kicked off in December, when she lodged a now infamous lawsuit against Baldoni.

Her lengthy complaint accuses Baldoni, 41, of multiple instances of sexual harassment and claims he worked to destroy her reputation.

Baldoni countersued both Lively and her husband Ryan for defamation in January.

While all parties deny the allegations against them, the escalating legal fracas has seen Lively’s name in particular dragged through the mud.

Fans thought her celebrity friends like Taylor Swift would jump to her defense, but the A-lister has had little support, at least publicly.

From historic stories of rudeness and diva behaviour to more recent claims from colleagues that Lively is a nightmare to work with, the allegations go back to the early days of her acting career.

It was reported last month that Jackman and Taylor Swift could be subpoenaed in the latest awkward turn of events in the ongoing legal battle.

A source has told the Daily Mail that Jackman and Swift – who has not been seen with her best pal Lively publicly since being hauled into the mess

‘It could happen at any time,’ the source revealed last month.

It is the latest development after the Daily Mail revealed Lively had quietly filed a lawsuit in September, months before her legal war with Baldoni became public, in an apparent effort to get access to damning text messages from his publicist.

The filing allowed her attorneys to issue a subpoena for the embarrassing texts and then drop the lawsuit, all without Baldoni’s team knowing it even existed.

In screenshots of alleged text messages from Lively to Baldoni, Lively referred to Swift and Reynolds as her ‘dragons.’ The screenshots were part of Baldoni’s countersuit, filed in January.
