Colin From Accounts stars Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall welcome their second child – and reveal the newborn’s very sweet name

Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall have welcomed a baby girl into the world.

The happy couple, who also play on-screen love interests in their series Colin From Accounts, announced the news last Sunday on Instagram.

Sharing an Instagram reel of images of their small family, including their adopted daughter Joni, three, the parents also revealed their newborn’s sweet name.

‘Welcoming little Mabel. We love her so much and we’re all very grateful. 2/2/2025,’ Harriet, 36, wrote.

The first image in the gallery saw Patrick, 48, swinging Joni up into the air on a beach during sunset while Harriet watched on as she cradled baby Mabel.

In another photo, Patrick measured his hand against Mabel’s tiny feet, while the following image saw Joni meeting her baby sister.

Harriet closed out the reel with a video of Patrick eating rice and mince before she panned the camera around to show Joni singing in a hospital room.

Newborn Mabel lay swaddled in her bed with a banner above the window which read ‘Happy Birthday’. 

It is unclear if Mabel was adopted or born via surrogate as Harriet and Patrick never made a pregnancy announcement.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to the couple for comment.  

Harriet and Patrick first became parents in September 2021 when they adopted Joni from her ‘incredible birth mother’.

The couple announced the happy news to Instagram on International Daughter’s Day at the time.  

‘International Daughter’s Day feels as good a time as any to introduce our little Joni Jane Brooklyn Brammall,’ Love Child actress Harriet wrote.

‘Born September 16, 2021 and with us from her first moments thanks to her incredible birth mother.’

Harriet went on to thank her husband, who she said had taken charge of parenting duties while she worked.

‘Special mention to Patty on this here daughter’s day, I have been working and he has kept this whole show going,’ she added.

Praising the Offspring actor, she added: ‘She struck gold with him.’

Harriet ended the heartfelt post with a quote on adoption.

‘”Mother is a verb and if you do the verb you become the noun.” – Ellen Burstyn on adoption,’ she said.

She also included a series of photos of their newborn daughter, including the adorable baby girl sleeping soundly in her crib.

Other photos showed the new parents taking turns holding her, while Harriet fed her a bottle in one picture.

Another sweet photo saw the whole family—including their beloved dog, Walter Mary—posing together for a mirror selfie.
