Taking to his social media on Friday the outspoken Irishman shared his misfortune with fans in a number of videos that showed he had gashed his knee in the accident.
The I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here veteran shared details that led to the mishap in his Instagram post.
One video, recorded by a crew member, shows the star preparing for filming with the caption: ‘This was five minutes before Colin Fassnidge fell into the sewer and became the grumpiest man on tour.’
A second video shows the star recovering and talking through how he fell into the sewer.
‘The producer said “go left” but there was no man hole cover over [it] so I found s***’ Colin said.
Meanwhile his producer replied, joking: ‘Blame it on me again! I said to go left.’

Taking to his social media on Friday the outspoken Irishman showed he had gashed his knee in the accident.
The video also features a close up of Colin’s left leg, which appears to have suffered a gash and some bruising around the knee joint.
Colin also posted another story showing him riding in a bus after the accident with the caption: ‘When you fall down an open man hole into s*** and everyone thinks its funny.’
It comes after Colin suffered a gruesome accident while on holiday earlier this year.
The chef rushed himself to hospital in January during a family vacation in Thailand.
The MKR judge was with his wife Jane and two daughters Lily, 14, and Maeve, 12 at the time.

He later detailed the ordeal on Instagram.
In the video, Colin said he split his leg open while he and one of his daughters were kayaking.
‘The Fassnidge holiday is never really a Fassnidge holiday unless we have a little bit of drama,’ he began.
‘Today, we were on a kayak – me, myself and my daughter. We both fell off and I couldn’t get back in. So I decided to push my daughter to shore to save her because we were miles out, miles out, miles out.’
His daughters then interjected on his ‘fake’ story, while wife Jane said the water was only ‘knee deep’, but Colin continued.
‘I’m telling the real story… and as I pushed my daughter in because I was saving her life it was so far away… It wasn’t shallow, it was deep and I was saving your life… I grazed my leg on an oyster rock, which split it right open, split it,’ he added.
‘Even the guy at the desk vomited,’ Colin continued. ‘But I will say, big ups to the hospital. It was packed… Obviously I paid cash, so I got through straight away. But they looked after me so well.’
The chef then showed off his patched-up injury, which he said required 10 stitches, before getting brutally roasted by his family.
The My Kitchen Rules judge also injured himself while holidaying in Thailand with his wife Jane and two daughters Lily, 14, and Maeve, 12 earlier this year
‘I just want to say I got no love from any female in my house. I had to get a taxi on my own, basically patch myself up. And that’s today’s news from Thailand,’ he said.
‘You’ve made a mountain out of a molehill,’ his wife Jane said, calling him a ‘baby elephant’ who struggled to get back into the capsized kayak.
Colin recently joined the cast of Better Homes and Gardens for 2024.
He will replace outgoing chef and presenter ‘Fast Ed’ Halmagyi, who departed the Channel Seven lifestyle program after 20 years in 2023.
He will continue to co-host My Kitchen Rules with Manu Feildel in 2024.
