Coleen Rooney Stuns in Grey Blazer While Visiting Husband Ahead of Soccer Aid

Coleen Rooney proved she was still queen of the WAGs as she stepped out on Saturday looking effortlessly stylish ahead of the Soccer Aid football match.

The TV personality, 39, cut a chic figure in a light grey blazer and coordinating trousers, which she paired with a fitted white T-shirt as she made her way out of the The Hilton Hotel where she had just visited husband Wayne Rooney.

Coleen added some blue and white chunky trainers to her look and accessorised a pair of tasteful diamond stud earrings, while tucking her brunette locks behind her ears.

Co-founded by pop star Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid is an annual charity event that brings together international sporting legends and top celebrities for the world’s biggest charity football match. 

The event features two teams, England and the Soccer Aid World XI FC and this year will see football icon Wayne step out of retirement to captain England.

The former footballer, 39, who stepped down from the pitch in 2021 and was sacked by Plymouth Argyle after just 25 matches in charge with the club in December 2024 is now making a comeback as he joins the star-studded squad for the annual charity match on Saturday.

The Manchester United legend will join the likes of Tyson Fury – who will serve as Wayne’s co-manager – and former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

At the time, Wayne said: ‘Tyson and I are taking it incredibly seriously – we’ll put on a show for you!’

Wayne previously managed the UNICEF team in 2020, and will be joining fellow footballers Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Kaylyn Kyle, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, David James and Harry Redknapp as returning players.

Coleen’s stylish appearance comes days after she let loose with her family at popular theme park, Alton Towers. 

Coleen shared pictures of the fun-filled day out to her Instagram with the caption: ‘Alton Towers is always a great half-term trip! We had a fantastic time as always… thanks for looking after us (Alton Towers)’. 

But as well as one or two wholesome pictures of the couple with nine-year-old Kit and seven-year-old Cass, Coleen also included pictures of herself and Wayne enjoying the rides, smiling while clinging onto the rollercoasters for dear life. 

Wayne managed to crack a smile throughout – even if his grimace couldn’t match his wife’s beaming grin. 

Coleen has enjoyed a career resurgence, winning the hearts of the nation as she came runner-up on last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 

The influencer was also able to share her sense of ‘relief’ after Rebekah Vardy was ordered to pay her a £1.4million settlement following their years-long Wagatha Christie legal battle. 

Breaking her silence at the time, Coleen insisted that ‘time and money should have been put to better use’ in a scathing public message.   

She wrote: ‘The ruling yesterday in my favour finally brings this claim to an end, it’s a relief and brings closure for my family and I. 

‘Throughout this long process, I am grateful that the judgements have consistently gone my way.

‘However, as I have always maintained this claim did not need to be made or run for as long as it did.

‘The time and money should have been put to better use.

‘I want to thank my legal representatives, management, friends and family for their guidance and constant support.

‘Thanks also to the public and many well wishers who have been in touch with such kind messages.

‘This episode is not something I ever wanted in my life however I am thankful for the way my family and team have dealt with it. We look forward to moving on with our lives.’

Coleen must also pay Vardy a total of £135,097.50 in costs under the terms of court orders from 2024, which will be set off against what Rebekah must pay.
