Coleen Nolan has revealed she and her five other sisters were victims of stalking at the peak of their early careers on Tuesday.
The Loose Women panelist, 59, shared the terrifying ordeal on the ITV lunchtime show while they were discussing Netflix’s new jaw-dropping series Baby Reindeer.
Coleen said she and her sisters were ‘constantly looking over their shoulders’ when they had a stalker, while they were in their girl group The Nolan’s in the 1970s.
The Nolan sisters consisted of Coleen, Denise, 72, Maureen, 69, Linda, 65, Anne, 73, and Bernie – who died in 2013 after losing her battle to breast cancer.
Speaking about her personal experience, Coleen said: ‘I was. Well, actually I wasn’t. They [the police] were worried that I was going to be a victim.

‘So they found out someone who was about to be released [from prison], who was obsessed and six months before, they came to me and said look, “We think this is going to happen” and they brought this amazing stalker side of things who gave me loads of what I should do.
‘It was really, really, really scary actually. You’re constantly looking over your shoulder and it’s the scariest thing and it happened obviously a few times within my career.
‘You know, me and my sisters had a scary guy stalking us. You know, thinking that we were all – he had this thing that we were all married to him psychologically.’
Coleen said the severity of the stalker was so dangerous, that they were threatened with a bomb after the stalker heard of any relationships that they had.
She added: ‘He would then kick off when he found out we’d had boyfriends and then he threatened to put a bomb in the theatre we were in and then the bomb squad came in and actually caught him.
‘And you know there’s another part of me, because he then gets taken away and had severe mental health issues and then there was an element with me where I kind of felt sorry for him because they don’t mean to do it.’
The conversation surrounded the topic of stalking comes after Netflix’s controversial new series Baby Reindeer has caused a stir among fans, while highlighting the severity of stalking in a real life setting.
The series, based on a true story by writer and lead actor Richard Gadd, follows Donny Dunn (Richard) and his relationship with stalker ‘Martha’ (Jessica Gunning).

Baby Reindeer delves into Richard’s harrowing real-life stalking ordeal and brutal sexual abuse as he plays a fictionalised version of himself called Donny Dunn.
Donny is flooded with 41,071 emails, 744 tweets, 350 voicemails and 106 pages of letters from stalker Martha.
The series also details Donny’s horrifying rape at the hands of his comedy mentor Darrien, played by Tom Goodman-Hill.
Darrien coaxes Donny to come to his flat and get high on drugs, by promising him that TV producers are interested in his work. However while on drugs, he sexually assaults Donny multiple times.
Richard has opened up about what it was like to re-enact his trauma for the small screen – and how he hopes it will aid his healing process.
On reliving his ‘severe’ twenties, he told Attitude: ‘It’s hugely challenging, but I hope for catharsis when the show comes out.’
