Coldplay’s Chris Martin reportedly played a private gig in Hampshire after the band wrapped up their record-breaking tour.
The British band just completed the final show of a 10-date run at Wembley Stadium as they made history as the first band to ever sell more than 13million tickets for a single tour.
And after the end of their mammoth world tour, Coldplay frontman Chris reportedly played a private gig on Saturday.
Chris was said to have been paid a sum ‘in the millions’ to play the secret gig, but he will reportedly donate his fee to charity.
A stark comparison to his nightly crowds of 82,000 at Wembley, Chris took to the stage for just 70 attendees at an ‘Indian summer’ party.
According to The Mirror, Chris highlighted the intimacy of the gig to partygoers as he said: ‘There were more people in the toilets at Wembley than there are here.’

Later her reportedly joked, in reference to the end of his tour: ‘I’m now unemployed’.
The show was apparently hosted by Swiss singer-songwriter Miel de Botton at her home in Hampshire and Chris took to the stage for 90 minutes.
Rather than his Coldplay bandmates, Chris was supported on stage by a bass guitarist he has played with since he was 12 years old and female backing singers.
Daily Mail has contacted Chris’s representatives for comment.
It comes after reports said Coldplay could have pocketed a whopping £1billion after the tour concludes, and that’s before sales from merchandise – which could boost the figure even higher.
The payday would make Coldplay the UK’s highest earning live performers ever, surpassing previous record holder Sir Elton John, whose Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour saw him rake in £718million.
‘Although final numbers won’t be released until after Wembley, estimates suggest overall ticket sales will hit the 13 million mark,’ concert data company Pollstar boss Andy Gensler told The Mirror.
‘Cumulative grosses have already reached $1.39billion, and London should push it over $1.4billion.’

The band’s high-earning tour has not come without its issues, however, with frontman Chris Martin facing backlash last Sunday after Israeli fans were booed by concertgoers.
And just weeks before, the ‘kiss cam’ at a Foxborough, Massachusetts show revealed an affair between a top tech CEO and his head of HR.
Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour made international headlines after the ‘kiss cam’ at a Foxborough accidentally rumbled an affair between a top tech CEO and his head of human resources as it showed them in an intimate embrace..
Astronomer boss Andy Byron was seen with his arms around Kristin Cabot at the show in July – before trying to duck out of sight after being caught in the eye of the stadium’s wily camera operator.
Chris said to the crowd: ‘Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.’
The pair were quickly identified online before resigning their positions as chief executive and head of people.
Andy’s wife, Megan Byron, reverted to her maiden name of Kerrigan on social media and has since left the family home.
