Coco Austin is facing backlash for letting her eight-year-old daughter play beer pong.
After the 44-year-old television personality took to Instagram to show off daughter Chanel’s ‘hidden talent’ last Thursday, fans flooded her comments section and criticized her for her parenting.
Exactly a week ago, the actress had posted a video of her and Ice-T’s daughter partaking in an adult drinking game without the alcohol and wrote: ‘Chanel’s got skills’.
In the clip, her daughter — who celebrated her birthday with her very ‘proud’ parents back in November — was seen throwing ping pong balls into red solo cups and making four in a row.
Although Chanel was not drinking, she could be heard in the clip encouraging her mother to take her shots now.

In the clip, her daughter was seen throwing ping pong balls into red solo cups and making four in a row as the adults cheered her on
‘No one can beat you in a drinking game,’ Austin had said in the clip to her beaming daughter. ‘They will lose!’
Austin’s sister Kristy Williams was also seen in the clip standing next to Chanel as she cheered her on.
They were also joined by her childhood friend, Sayward White.
Austin did not respond to any of the critical comments but did respond to one about how her younger sister was wearing a ‘similar’ outfit, which Austin said she gave her so they could ‘match’.
One Instagram user said that ‘social services would be there in a hot second’ if any ‘normal everyday parents’ did the same thing she did.
‘If normal everyday parents were to do this with their children and post it to their social media account you can bet social services would be there in a hot second to take their children away from the parents,’ the comment read.
Another one told Austin to ‘grow up’ and ‘raise her right’ before adding that they ‘really want CPS to come’.
‘Really you taught her how to play beer bong? Something is wrong with all the adults in this video,’ the social media user began in their lengthy comment.

Another criticized how Chanel has now learned to encourage her mother’s drinking, which the social media user said is ‘not really something to celebrate’
Another Instagram user wondered how ‘people wonder why their kids turn out the way they do’
‘This is a prime example of what adults shouldn’t do,’ they wrote. ‘You keep kids in a kid’s place in adults in adult places. I need you two to grow up… And raise her right because this ain’t it?’
They also asked where Ice-T was and if he had any involvement in the video.
The Instagram user also added: ‘I really, really want CPS to come and get hurt because y’all ain’t doing it. Where’s the dad at? Because he’s just as wrong. If he allowed you to do this yeah are so disturbing on so many levels.’
‘I think the bigger issue is that the child’s behavior is now conducive to her mother drinking too,’ another comment read. ‘That’s not really something to celebrate’.
