The much-anticipated BBC series will make its grand return to screens on New Year’s Day.
And celebrating the release, host Claudia slipped into a burgundy jumper with The Traitor’s logo stitched on in yellow.
The host, 52, posed with two cloaked traitors dressed in long black capes ahead of the exciting return.
In the sizzling new teaser, the show promises to come ‘back with a bang’ as a new group of strangers gear up to battle it out in the hope of winning up to £120,000 in ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust.
The eerie clip sees three traitors carrying lanterns as they make their way up to the castle under the cover of darkness.

As the series’ haunting theme music plays, a firework then explodes in the sky revealing the show’s logo followed by the New Year’s Day release date.
Claudia then appears on screen, telling the camera: ‘Start the new year with a bang.’
The format for the nail-biting show will follow the previous series’, with episodes released in batches of three, airing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
While the first two episodes will air at 8pm, episode three and beyond will be on screen from 9pm.
In addition to the new civilian series, the Official visualised podcast, Traitors Uncloaked, hosted by stand up comedian Ed Gamble returns and will be available directly after every episode of the main show on BBC Two and iPlayer.
The BBC have yet to confirm the line-up of Traitors and Faithfuls for the 2025 series, but the newcomers will have big shoes to fill following iconic characters from last series including secret mum Diane Carson, villain Paul Gorton and of course eventual winner Harry Clarke.
Harry won The Traitors’ £95,000 prize in January after deceiving his fellow contestants, including Faithful runner-up Mollie Pierce.
The 23-year-old British Army Corporal fought off competition from 20 other contestants all vying to win up the money in the famous castle as part of the intense psychological game.

Co-star Mollie Pearce wrongly thought that he was a faithful in the hopes of the pair of them splitting the cash, as he revealed that he had been a traitor all along, meaning he walked away with all the money.
The BBC confirmed that the climactic season two finale reached a peak audience of 6.9 million, which is more than double the season one finale.
It comes as Alan Carr is reportedly set to be a part of the star-studded lineup for Celebrity Traitors and fans will be thrilled as he topped their wish lists.
The comedian, 48, is reportedly in final talks to join fellow Jester Jennifer Saunders, 66, in Claudia Winkleman’s, 52, castle next year, which will be his first-ever reality TV gig.
A source told The Sun: ‘Alan is an absolute national treasure and will be an incredible contestant – he’ll make great telly as well as being a top player.’
‘Bosses are thrilled at the kind of scenes that could play out as he grapples with the more sensible names on the line-up as well as him giggling away with pals like Jennifer.’
‘He has been one of viewers’ dream signings since the idea of a celebrity version was first floated so everyone is thrilled talks are in final stages.’
Last month it was reported that a star-studded crop of celebrities had signed up for the show.
