Christy Turlington has made the rare move this week of gushing over her husband, filmmaker Ed Burns, 56.
The 55-year-old model took to Instagram to appreciate the actor as he launches a new podcast in honor of his late mother Molly.
The Vogue cover girl added several photos of Ed at work and play in her rare post.
‘I have to take a moment to shout out the inimitable Ed Burns,’ began the San Francisco native.
‘Not only is he now a quadruple threat (director, writer, actor and author) he is also the first son of Molly McKenna Burns, the father of our two children, and my husband of 21 + years.’
She then praised him for his accomplishments.
‘This was quite a week for him! Beginning with the launch of his first novel #akidfrommarlbororoad to the world premiere of #millersinmarriage at @tiff_net.’

Turlington added: ‘I am excited to celebrate you today with the launch of the latest @kellycorrigan wonders #AboutYourMother podcast recording.’
The podcast is in honor of his ‘first love and inspiration’, his mother Molly.
It will ‘raise awareness about maternal health and the global efforts to improve equitable access to safe and respectful maternity care for all through @everymomcounts,’ Christy noted.
‘Boy, would your mother ever be proud!’ she ended her post.
Pals Cindy Crawford, Paulina Porizkova and Helena Christensen hit the like button.
The cover model has been married to Burns since 2003 and they are the parents of two children: Grace, 20, and Finn, 18.
Earlier this year she shared a sweet family portrait from Finn’s high school graduation.
‘I am officially an “empty nester” today!’ she wrote in the post, which racked up a host of likes from fellow fashion stars, including pal Linda Evangelista.
‘How do I feel about it? Ask me in three months, after my baby has moved out of our home and settled into his college dorm across the country.’

She said she feels grateful that they have reached this milestone.
‘Every day is a gift, especially when in good health and when we feel safe and well supported,’ the star – who is in the new Marc Jacobs campaign – shared.
‘I know by now that life and our experiences are fleeting and that what’s truly important is to make meaningful connections in this lifetime.
‘I want to thank all those who have loved and supported my kid along this wondrous journey so far,’ added the Versace model.
‘You all made it more fun and rewarding every step of the way. So, here is to whatever is outside of the nest and to embracing as much of it as we possibly can for as long as we can from here.
‘Congratulations, Finn & LREI Class of ‘24! We are proud to know you and to claim you as one of ours. #NoFinnNoFun #Chapman28.’
Porizkova commented: ‘Congratulations are keeping those babies alive until they can fly!’

The California native – who was discovered at age 14 in Miami – wore a cream colored top with a chic and long ivory woven button-up jacket.
Also at the daytime event were Katie Holmes, Ashley Benson, Joey King and Kerry Washington.
This comes after she revealed she has never had plastic surgery. She told Vogue in 2023 that going under the knife was out of the question.
‘I’ve always been consistent about my thoughts on this, and I think because I’ve said it so many times, I still believe it,’ she said.
‘But also those are my values.’
Turlington also does not use injectables like Botox.
In April she was seen on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Discussing her approach to modelling these days, Christy said: ‘I can do a day here and there. But then, two days, I’m like, “Too much. It’s too much.”
Turlington has maintained her supermodel good looks well into her fifties. Outside the Chanel Tribeca Festival women’s lunch in New York City in June
‘I feel lucky to have the option [to model]. It’s still my livelihood.’
Having soared to fame as one of the ‘original supermodels’ of the Nineties, she detailed the contrast of shows – for fashion giants including Chanel, Versace, and Valentino – during her heyday with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
She regaled: ‘The shows always felt a little like chaos. I think we, as models, will hold some of that energy and that tension, and it’s not peaceful in a lot of those spaces.’
The stunner, 55, looked nothing short of sensational for HB
Elsewhere in the interview, Christy revealed that a nude photo snapped during her heyday was circulated among her 18-year-old son’s high school peers when she attended one of his basketball games.
She heartbreakingly confessed that ‘all [she] wanted to do was disappear’ when she learned that the opposing team had bullied her son, Finn Burns, by passing around her nude photo from an old shoot.
She said: ‘I was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner. But at the same time, I was like, “This is so rude!”‘
The runway legend recounted the incident during her recent photoshoot for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, which marks her 14th collaboration with the magazine.
She noted that the school later got involved in the scandal, adding, ‘I don’t feel embarrassed about anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.’
Christy famously posed nude in a memorable 1995 photoshoot for Vogue Magazine.

In the recent interview, the supermodel shared that it was her child who suggested she disable comments on her Instagram posts.
‘I don’t have my comments on. My daughter told me to do that a couple years ago. I’m really happy that I don’t [have to see the comments],’ she said.
‘I can’t say that I’m Teflon. I’m sure if I did read something that was pointed or mean, it would hurt me in the same way. But I also try not to give that much attention to any of it.’
She admitted that she’s a ‘shy person’ as she said, referring to her photo shoots: ‘I like a quiet set. If I hear any dance music or techno music, I want to flee.’
‘Being a person who is quiet and studies people, I think I learned how to not stand out. My mom never said, like, “Oh, here’s how you’re going to protect yourself.” I think I just really paid attention, honestly,’ she added.
