Christine Quinn, the breakout star of the first five seasons of Selling Sunset, is eyeing a return to the hit Netflix series after her nemesis Chrishell Stause’s exit, a source exclusively told the Daily Mail on Friday.
The insider revealed that Quinn, 37, would be open to coming back only if the offer was ‘really juicy.’Â It’s unclear whether any official negotiations have taken place yet, but we’re told producers have always had the polarizing TV star on top of mind.
‘There has always been talks – every season,’ the source added.
Quinn helped launch the successful real estate show franchise on Season 1 in 2019 alongside Stause, Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz and Oppenheim Group founders Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim. She captivated viewers with witty comebacks and glamorous outfits.
Quinn and Stause’s feud typically dominated storylines. The former soap star and model did not hit it off from the start, and Stause slammed Quinn in the early seasons for speaking out about her high-profile divorce from Justin Hartley.
The How to Be a Boss B**ch author was dubbed a villain as a result and claimed she would often receive death threats. She ultimately left Selling Sunset after Season 5 in 2022, with sources telling the Daily Mail at the time that it was a ‘mutual decision.’
Around the time of her departure, though, Quinn had been openly critical about what allegedly happened behind-the-scenes on Selling Sunset.
She claimed in a bombshell interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast that producers would go out of their way to stir up trouble among cast members, and that they would ‘set up these scenarios which instigate our emotions intentionally.’

Quinn also made the shocking claim on the podcast that Selling Sunset creator Adam DiVello allegedly told her to ‘fall on the stairs and kill [herself].’
‘[I was] being too honest. That wasn’t the first complaint I filed against him. There was another complaint … where he to this day cannot actually step foot on set with any of the women in the office because of misconduct,’ she further alleged.
DiVello, 56, who is a megaproducer behind other popular series such as The Hills, has not responded to Quinn’s allegations to date.
Stause, herself, has hinted at some of the toxicity she has dealt with due to the show.
Earlier this month, the Under Construction author, 44, explained to Bustle that she finally decided to leave the show because it had taken a mental toll on her.
‘I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health,’ she said.

Stause and Quinn both starred on the show since Season 1 alongside Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz and Oppenheim Group founders Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim
‘The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved.’
Stause’s shock decision comes, however, as she is on the outs with several other cast members, including her former BFF Emma Hernan.Â
Stause – who is part of the LGBTQIA community and is married to nonbinary singer G-Flip – has openly disproved of Hernan’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Blake Davis for his alleged racist and homophobic remarks.
On the latest Season 9 reunion of Selling Sunset, Hernan slammed Stause for taking their issues to social media and has said their friendship cannot be repaired.
A source told the Daily Mail, ‘Everything Christine had said about Chrishell turned out to be true.’Â
Meanwhile, Quinn is seemingly flaunting her feelings of vindication via social media, posting TikToks that poke fun about her former co-stars.

A source told us that despite her exit after Season 5, Quinn has always had talks with Selling Sunset producers ‘every season’ for a potential return
In one video, she uses a President Trump voice-over, in which he says, ‘Drug dealers, drug lords, terrorists … people from mental institutions … hundreds of thousands of major criminals’ and captioned it, ‘I see y’all finally met the cast I worked with..’
However, Quinn’s official Selling Sunset return faces a few hurdles, as she no longer lives in Los Angeles. She moved to Texas following a highly publicized split from her estranged husband, Christian Dumontet, with whom she shares a 4-year-old son.
In March 2024, the tech entrepreneur was arrested for an assault with a deadly charge weapon after he allegedly threw a trash bag with glass in it at his then-wife, but missed and hit their son instead.
The former couple – whose lavish wedding had been featured on Selling Sunset – split shortly after, with both of them filing restraining orders against one another.
Dumontet then filed for divorce the following month. The divorce is still ongoing.
Aside from Quinn, a source exclusively told the Daily Mail that another former cast member, El Moussa, would consider returning as well, adding, ‘Never say never!’
