Christina Aguilera appeared to dodge a question about her being mentioned in Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir The Woman In Me during Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The pop icons have a long and complicated history together, as the former Mickey Mouse Club stars began their careers alongside each other in the early 1990s and soared to fame while constantly being pitted against one another.
As the highly-anticipate tome covers much of Britney’s life – including the bombshell about her abortion with Justin Timberlake and that he allegedly cheated on her with a mystery celebrity- it’s likely Christina will also make it to the pages, and host Jimmy Kimmel inquired about the possibility.
‘Do you think you will be in it?’ Jimmy wondered. ‘Has she called you and said, “hey, heads up?”‘
‘Dude, I don’t know. I don’t know,’ Christina said, laughing off the question and giving Jimmy a bit of a side-eye, as he followed up, ‘Are you hoping that you’re in it?’
