Christie Brinkley appeared to take the lead in organizing an Italian-themed dinner to remember for her daughter Sailor’s 26th birthday bash.
And while the legendary supermodel didn’t give the exact location of where family and friends ‘celebrated under our great Kitchen Tree’, she did reveal in the past that the prized spot is at their home in the Hamptons.
The doting mom kicked off the celebration by taking a trip down memory lane by sharing a collection of photos featuring Sailor throughout the years on Tuesday.
Come Thursday, July the 4th, two days after her actual birthday, and Brinkley took back to her Instagram page to share a series of snaps of her daughter’s elegant outdoor bash.
‘The theme was a night in Italy to celebrate Sailor’s Birthday! And the Summer evening was as Bellissima as my bambino Sailor Lee!’ the former catwalk queen, 70, gushed in the caption.

The longtime face of CoverGirl added, ‘We celebrated under our great Kitchen Tree where strings of lights looked like twinkling stars that also filled the sky and along with the happy birthday candles collected wishes for Sailors new year to be her best one yet!’
The cover photo showed mother and daughter with their arms wrapped around each other while flashing big beaming smiles.
Standing near the long wooden tables where dinner would be served later that evening, the two lookalikes showcased their similar styles with the proud mother decked out in a classic white summer dress with yellow patterns and an off-the-shoulder design.
She also went with the classic look of tying a colorful scarf over her long blonde tresses, while leaving some strands of hair falling out the front, as well as down her back several inches.
The birthday girl went with an off white-patterned dress that hugged her upper body like a glove, while loosening up from the waist on down to her feet.
The fashion model opted to wear her blonde locks long and flowing down past her shoulders several inches with some soft waves and a part in the middle.
There’s also a photo of Sailor looking up with another infectious smile as she was helping herself to some of the lovely food spread out on a table.
Several clips captured the moment the birthday cake was placed in front of Sailor with a number of lit candles burning on top of it.

Brinkley appeared to be over-the-moon happy as she hugged her daughter as they were about to sing the Happy Birthday song.
The videos also captured her sister Alexa Ray Joel, who’s father is musician Billy Joel, and her and her fiancée Ryan Gleason all celebrating together.
While there didn’t appear to be any pictures of him, the two sisters, who are said to be ver close, also have a 29-year-old brother, Jack, who’s father is Richard Taubman, Christie third ex-husband Richard Taubman.
The birthday girl’s dad, Hamptons-based architect Peter Cook, had been married to her mother from 1996 to 2000, but it ended in a nasty breakup when Brinkley learned of Cook’s affair with his then-19-year-old assistant Diana Bianchi.

A throwback snap showed a very young Sailor rocking blonde braids while standing next to Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan.
Her mother captioned the photo with a playful nod to Lohan’s famous movie: ‘Never a Mean Girl and always adventurous with your hairstyles!’
In the image, Lohan wore a multi-color bikini, as she had her arm around Sailor, who looked adorable in a green swimsuit and white pants.

It’s unclear how Lohan and Brinkley know each other, considering the duo have not starred in any films together.
Another image was a selfie of Sailor at the airport, with her mom writing, ‘Wishing you great adventures laughter and lots of love.’
She also posted two sweet snaps of her daughter with her dogs, calling her the ‘best pup mom I know.’
She’s also mom to Alexa Ray Joel, 38, whom she shares with singer-songwriter Billy Joel, and son Jack Paris Brinkley-Cook, 29, whom she had with then-husband Richard Taubman.

The lookalike duo have even modeled together on several occasions throughout the years.
When starting out in the industry, the longtime top supermodel offered up some key advice to her daughter.
‘Her biggest advice when it comes to being on a set would be just to be as gracious as you can. I always try and introduce myself to everyone in the room,’ Sailor told People last year.
‘And I always try and acknowledge everyone in the room. Because I mean, my job is almost pretty much the easiest.’
She continued: ‘That’s what she taught me, is to really acknowledge my surroundings while I’m in it and not be a diva and have fun with the creatives that I’m working with.’
The New York native also told People that her style is very similar to her mom’s, describing them both as ‘pretty classic.’
‘We love a white t-shirt. We love a good pair of jeans. We love a trench coat, good sweater, a good pair of white sneakers, black boots,’ she added.

‘Sometimes I’ll ask to borrow something, and I’ll be like, “Oh my God, this is so cute,” and she’ll tell me, “Okay, but you have to give it back.” And then she forgets!’ Sailor quipped.
Sailor and her mom are so close that she even stepped in for her as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars in 2019 after Brinkley broke her arm during rehearsals.
She was terrified but followed her mom’s advice: ‘My mom told me to have fun with it and to not let fear stop me from doing any of it.’
Sailor Brinkley-Cook ended up being eliminated during the sixth week of the competition.
