The Batman actor, 50, is portraying Dr. Frankenstein’s Monster in the film, cut a grungy figure as he wore a boxy pin-striped suit
But it was his on-set makeup that really spooked up his ensemble, as he was seen with a crown of scars around his forehead.
By his side, Jessie also cut a spooky figure as she was spotted dressed in a blood orange satin dress, which featured a daringly high split up her leg.
She put on a busty display for the dramatic filming and was seen traipsing around the set in a skimpy black bra.
Jessie looked like she had been conjured up from a Tim Burton ensemble as she wore candy blue thigh-high tights and cherry red vintage heels.
Transforming into the spookiest bride, she switched up her tresses for a grey permed wig and rocked a wild black lipstick look.
The film marks a reunion for Bale and Gyllenhaal, who starred alongside one another in 2008’s Batman film The Dark Knight.
This film tells the story of 1930s Chicago. Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride, sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change.
Ahead of production, Christian opened up about going bald for the role during his groundbreaking ceremony for the California foster homes.
‘I’ve got to shave my head next week [for a movie]. I asked them to please let me hold off on doing that but everyone was going, “What’s wrong with Bale? What’s up with him?”‘ Bale said.

‘I said, “Just let me get through the groundbreaking and then I’ll be off to join you,”‘ Bale said, adding he was starting preparations soon.
‘I’ll be working with the wonderful Maggie, Jessie and so many talented actors in the cast,’ he said.
‘I’ve got to get busy getting on the rack, breaking my bones and eating lots of fertilizer or something to try and grow,’ Bale joked.
The actor is no stranger to rigorous preparations, famously losing over 60 pounds to play the emaciated Trevor Reznik in 2004’s The Machinist.
He also had to put all that weight back on again to star in 2005’s Batman Begins, and he also lost another 30 pounds to play Dicky Eklund in 2010’s The Fighter.
Christian most recently lent his voice to the English version of the beloved Japanese animated film The Boy and the Heron.
Maggie directed from a script she wrote based on characters created by Mary Shelley.
The writer-director also produces alongside Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Osnat Handelsman-Keren and Talia Kleinhendler.
Warner Bros. has set an October 3, 2025, release date for The Bride, which has had no direct competition recently.
Christian is also attached to star in The Church Of Living Dangerously, playing preacher John Lee Bishop, who became ensnared in running drugs for a Mexican cartel.
