Chrissy Teigen is having a busy week full of press appearances for her new show Chrissy and Dave Eat Out.
And on Tuesday the 38-year-old cookbook author stopped by SiriusXM TODAY Show Radio’s The Happy Hour and revealed that her mom Vilailuck ‘Pepper’ Teigen has moved home to Thailand.
While chatting with the hosts, the model — who was a guest on Good Morning America on Wednesday – said about her parent: ‘She is meant to go live her best life.
‘She obviously loves taking care of her grandchildren but seeing her every day at home, doing that and being there with us was so special and so amazing, but she’s young enough that she needs to go off and be happy.’
She added, ‘We miss her so much… you feel the void.’

The matriarch lived with daughter Chrissy, son-in-law John Legend, and their brood for years before returning to her homeland.
The longtime couple — who renewed their vows last year — share daughters Luna, seven, Esti, one, and sons Miles, six, and Wren, seven months.
In April 2021, the Sports Illustrated cover star and Vilailuck spoke with People about their close bond.
‘We are truly one big, happy family,’ the mother-of-four gushed about their tight-knit clan.
She added about her mom’s relationship with her kids: ‘She’s just their everything. They have their little secrets and their little world.’
The proud daughter continued, ‘It’s just so beautiful that she is so energetic and so there and present for our kids and our family.’
She emphasized further, ‘It’s really nice to have our cluster in our house. Love is something that you show through being together, the memories you make.’

They devastatingly lost a son, Jack, at birth in September 2020.
