Chrissy Metz’s Dramatic Transformation After Major Weight Loss

Chrissy Metz proudly displayed her weight-loss transformation this week when she graced the Lifetime Summer Soirée in Santa Monica, California.

The 44-year-old This Is Us star glowed in an appropriately summery blue tie-dye dress as she flaunted her impressive 100-pound weight loss on the red carpet.

Her stunning display comes after the actress revealed some of the secrets to how she achieved her slimmed-down figure in an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com.

Metz made a grand entrance at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel ahead of the release of her Lifetime movie Faith In The Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story, which will air on the network on Saturday, July 19.

Her Summer Soirée look featured a navy blue dress with alternating tie dye–style stripes in robin egg blue, gold and amber.

Metz paired the lustrous dress with classy black open-toe shoes, and she added an extra splash of color with her red pedicure and matching lips.

The actress wore her brunette hair parted down the middle and let it cascade down her shoulders in thick wavy strands.

Chrissy, who weighed in on whether she would ever take weight-loss drugs like Ozempic while speaking with DailyMail.com, revealed in her conversation that weight lifting has been an essential part of her health journey in recent months.

Metz was joined at the celebration by The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham, who looked festive in a cream-colored satin dress with tasseled sleeves and a sheer skirt.

She also posed with the inspiration for her upcoming lifetime film, the real-life Nichole Jolly.

Jolly was among of group of nurses who risked their lives to care for patients amid the devastating Camp Fire that destroyed much of Paradise and its surrounding towns in Northern California’s Butte County in November 2018.

The registered nurse worked to evacuate patients from the Feather River Hospital, before she tried to drive away from the quickly approaching flames.

She described to ABC News at the time how she called her family and shared her fears that she wouldn’t make it out of the blaze alive, before her vehicle was rear-ended by another driver and pushed off the road, forcing her to flee on foot.

Sparks burning debris rained down around her, setting her pants on fire, and she took refuge in a parked car that a doctor from the hospital was sitting in, but she soon had to run out of that car after it too filled up with toxic smoke.

‘I thought I was gonna die right there,’ the nurse recalled. ‘There was no oxygen.’

But she ran straight into a miracle as a passing fire crew saw her and stopped to fully extinguish her burning clothes before pulling her to safety.

Jolly survived with only minor burns and blisters, but 85 people lost their lives in the wildfire, which also displaced over 50,000 people and turned more than 18,000 buildings to little more than ash and rubble.

‘Nichole’s bravery and devotion to others, even when everything around her was collapsing, is something we don’t see enough of,’ Metz said of the heroic nurse, according to JubileeCast. ‘Her story reminds us that faith isn’t abstract — it’s what we cling to when we have nothing else.’

Faith In The Flames premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, July 19, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
