Chrishell Stause has given fans a shock update on her Neighbours cameo role.
The 43-year-old Selling Sunset star, who recently tied the knot to Australian musician G Flip for a second time, made the bombshell announcement that she was joining the series in a recent Instagram post.
Stause has been sharing behind the scenes updates from the Ramsay Street set, including one crucial detail about her character.
On Thursday, she took to Instagram to answer a fan question about her experience on the soap.
Chrishell shared a screenshot of a direct message asking her about her character on the show.
‘Are you playing an American on Neighbours or did you have to work on your Aussie accent?’ the message read.
Over the screenshot, Chrishell confessed that her character shared her nationality.
‘For everyone’s sake, I will playing an American. My Aussie accent needs some work,’ she added.

Chrishell is currently Down Under to appear on a reboot of the iconic Australian soap opera Neighbours.
‘I am honoured and excited to join such a beloved and iconic show,’ she revealed in a recent statement.
‘Coming from the world of soaps in the US, it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry.

‘They pitched me an idea for a character, and I was immediately excited to figure out a way to make it happen. Ramsay Street here I come!’
The show said in a post on its Instagram account in May: ‘Chrishell Stause is coming to Ramsay Street’ as she’s playing a new character named Yasmine Shields.
Yasmine is described by the show as ‘a glamorous and successful businesswoman in pursuit of an exciting new opportunity.’
Stause was ‘set to arrive on set in July,’ the show said, adding that ‘fans can expect intrigue and surprises – and many implications for the residents of Ramsay Street.’
Stause and G Flip married for a second time over the weekend, tying the knot in a Western-themed ceremony in Australia one year after eloping in Las Vegas.
The pair had an absolute ball as they exchanged vows in front of their Aussie family members at the Moon Dog Wild West bar in Footscray, Melbourne.
Chrishell confirmed her second nuptials on Monday, when she shared a video to Instagram of their vow renewal which also doubled as her birthday party.
‘Bday/Aussie Wedding/vow renewal with the whole Aussie fam,’ she captioned the post.
She also shared a selfie alongside the pop singer and wrote: ‘Best. Day. Ever.’
G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flipo, and Chrishell tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas wedding in May, 2023.
