Despite the wild reactions to the interview, fans were still clinging to his every word, as he spilled some juicy Hollywood gossip about the Batman & Robin production

O'Donnell also reminisced about his time working with Clooney, 64, revealing the actor's lighthearted nature on set.

‘Maybe we just enjoyed it too much, frankly,’ he said. ‘As far as just screwing around and having fun with it.’

But despite the film’s legendary flop, O'Donnell still claims he has found fans of the movie - or so he thinks.

‘A lot of young people see the movie and they come up and tell me how much they like it, and I can’t tell if they’re screwing with me or they’re serious.’

Despite the misfire that was Batman & Robin, O'Donnell's career didn’t falter for long.

Following his stint as Robin, he found new success in the 2000s with a string of notable projects.

In addition to his acting career, O'Donnell has remained relatively private, preferring to focus on family life with his wife, Caroline Fentress, whom he married in 1997.

The couple shares five children: Christopher 26, Charles, 24, Finley, 22, James 19, and Sophie 16.

He’s also been involved in various philanthropic causes over the years, including his work with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
