Chris Martin and Sophie Turner are said to have ‘a lot of chemistry’ after going on ‘a few dates’ in London.
The singer, 48, split from Dakota Johnson, 35, in June after eight years together and an engagement.
Meanwhile the Game of Thrones star, 29, called it quits with aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, 31, in late September, after nearly two years together.
Insiders say Chris and Sophie have a ‘definite spark’ after going on a ‘secret date’ together last month.
A source told US Weekly: ‘They have gone out on a few dates in London. It is still very new, but they have a lot of chemistry, and there’s a definite spark between them.
‘Sophie has always admired Chris and was a big fan of both him and his music long before they ever met.’

The Daily Mail previously revealed Sophie went on a ‘secret date’ with the Coldplay frontman after she and Peregrine called it quits.
News of their reported split came after the pair first sparked speculation they’d broken up earlier this year when Sophie unfollowed Peregrine on Instagram.
Peregrine is the eldest son and heir of Michael Pearson, the 4th Viscount Cowdray – a former film producer who owns a significant chunk of the Pearson media empire.
His ancestral estate is home to Cowdray Park Polo Club – which boasts ten pitches and hosts more than 450 matches each year.
The actress first revealed she was dating Viscount Cowdray’s son in December 2023, months after the breakdown of her four-year marriage to Joe Jonas, 36.
The couple often documented their relationship online, with Sophie last sharing pictures of Peregrine – known as Perry – in a post from January.

Meanwhile, despite several reports of splits and reconciliations between Perry and Sophie over the summer, insiders revealed that the couple officially broke up after a high-society wedding in late September.
Sources said the Joan star and aristocrat were seen there bickering and arguing between feverish snogs on the dance floor.
Reports in August claimed she uploaded nine photos to her Raya profile – including holiday snaps and one of her dancing in a hotel room.
According to The Sun, the actress listed her interests on the app as: ‘music, pasta, movies, family, sun, and friends’.
The Daily Mail contacted Sophie’s representative for comment at the time.
Sophie did not mope around feeling glum about losing her Viscount-in-waiting as she reportedly went on a date with Chris the very next week.
Chris, who famously ‘consciously uncoupled’ from his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, has been in London this summer performing a string of Wembley dates as part of Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres tour.
