Australian celebrities rolled out the tinsel, the glamour and the heartwarming family moments on Christmas Day.

A string of familiar faces taking to social media to share how they spent the festive season. 

From beachfront balconies and sparkling living rooms to wildlife reserves on the other side of the world, stars including Chris Hemsworth, Karl Stefanovic, Tammy Hembrow and Richard Wilkins gave fans a front-row seat to their celebrations. 

Love was in the air for Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky as the Hollywood power couple soaked up a tropical Christmas in the sunshine in Fiji.

The Thor star, 42, and his Spanish actress wife, 49, shared a loved-up selfie while relaxing under swaying palm trees, both sporting festive Santa hats as they leaned in close to the camera.

Also featured in the post were a series of pictures with their children: 11-year-old twin boys, Sasha and Tristan, and lookalike daughter India.

Over on the coast, Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine embraced the laidback Aussie Christmas spirit by posing on a sun-drenched balcony with their daughter Harper.

The loved-up couple wore playful matching pyjamas in colourful festive prints, with Karl cutting a relaxed figure in aqua shorts and a matching short-sleeved top, while Jasmine twinned in a pink version of the set.

Little Harper stole the spotlight in a mini matching pyjama ensemble, perched on her dad’s hip and finishing her festive look with pale pink sneakers.

The family’s German Shepherd sat patiently at their feet as the sparkling blue ocean stretched out behind them, perfectly capturing the summer-by-the-sea vibe. 

Tammy Hembrow posed inside her Gold Coast home alongside her three children, daughters Saskia and Posy, and son Wolf, in a stunning family portrait. 

The 31-year-old fitness mogul stunned in a floor-length red gown featuring a daring cut-out detail across the midriff and thin shoulder straps, showing off her toned figure as she smiled confidently beside her kids.

She wore her blonde hair slicked back into a neat bun and kept her makeup bronzed and glowing, finishing the look with glossy lips and softly defined eyes.

Her children twinned in crisp white and soft pink summer outfits, with her eldest son flashing a big grin in a simple white T-shirt, while her two daughters wore breezy dresses that added to the relaxed yet polished holiday feel.

Robert Irwin and his mum Terri travelled the furthest for Christmas, choosing to spend the festive season in South Africa on the front lines of wildlife conservation.

The pair were pictured standing among members of The Black Mambas, an all-female anti-poaching unit that protects endangered rhinos and wildlife in the region.

Robert kept things simple in a black T-shirt and shorts, flashing a thumbs-up, while Terri opted for a beige button-up shirt and jeans.

The conservationists revealed they have supported the unit for many years through their charity Wildlife Warriors Worldwide, praising the women for continuing their life-saving work even over the holiday period. 

Richard Wilkins shared a bustling family photo that captured the joyful chaos of a big Christmas gathering.

The 70-year-old wore a Santa hat and coordinated grey festive pyjamas as he posed on a staircase alongside his younger girlfriend Mia Hawkswell, 47, and a large group of relatives, all twinning in matching sleepwear.

A towering Christmas tree glowing with blue and green fairy lights stood proudly behind the group, while children cuddled in close and the family dog sat at the foot of the stairs, stealing a little of the spotlight.

Meanwhile, Married At First Sight’s Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James turned up the sparkle with an elegant indoor Christmas portrait in front of a twinkling tree adorned with red, gold and silver baubles.

Duncan looked dapper in a sharp black suit worn over a crisp white shirt, while Evelyn stunned in a shimmering emerald green one-shoulder midi dress paired with strappy metallic heels and glossy glam makeup.

Their beloved dachshunds Pickles and Mustard stole the show as they sat patiently beneath the tree on a plush rug, with personalised bone-shaped cookies placed in front of them.

Former MAFS stars Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson kept things cosy and casual as they celebrated with their twin sons Levi and Tate.

The couple posed beside a decorated Christmas tree topped with a silver star, with Bryce opting for a cream jumper, light jeans and white sneakers, while Melissa wore an oversized white T-shirt, jeans and her hair pulled back into a top knot.
