A scary scene transpired during Chris D’elia’s stand-up show when a man sitting in the front row seemingly suffered a seizure.
It all went down at the Levity Live in the Oxnard neighborhood in Southern California last weekend, and was captured in a video that was shared on his personal Instagram page, according to TMZ.
Instead of stopping the show altogether, the comedian continued with his show by reacting to the emergency situation that unfolded before his very eyes, just a few feet in front of him in the front row.
‘Too soon,’ a man yelled out from where that man had been sitting in the front row, which set D’elia off on a 13-minute bit where he ranted about what he had just witnessed, as well as a question-and-answer session about the man’s condition.
Just seconds after the man nearly fell back off his chair, D’Elia asked if he was okay several times from the stage with his microphone.

After a few more moments, when it appeared the man was all right, the New Jersey native kept asking about his condition: ‘You all right, bro?’ he said with genuine concern.
‘F*** yeah, a round if applause for this guy who almost died,’ the New Jersey native declared, which got a rousing applause from people in the audience.
‘You’re all right, you’re good right? Is that something that happens?’ he asked the stricken man.
After the man confirmed he was okay, it took just a few more seconds for D’Elia and everyone else at the venue to realize that this guy was not all right, and that he began to seize again.
‘No, no he’s not okay,’ the You star corrected himself, before suggesting that they lay the guy down: ‘We should call an ambulance, somebody?’
A couple guys then carry the man away from the seating area away from the stage to get him medical attention
‘A round of applause,’ D’elia says, and then proceeds to get on with the show by reacting to what just happened.
‘Let’s do the show,’ he announced, before adding, ‘Let’s walk with him,’ in a reference to the man who had the seizure.
‘Woah, that’s crazy. I guess that Pride Month bit really hit him hard,’ he joked, which got a reaction from another fan who was sitting in that front area, who yelled, ‘Too soon.’

The man’s head slowly began to fall as the seizure started, and he fell forward, then backward in his chair, before someone next to him caught him. D’elia stopped the show to ask if the man was all right several times at the beginning of the show
‘Too soon. It happened now during the comedy show. What do you mean too soon. What am I supposed to do, a f***ing monologue from a Tennessee Williams play?’
‘Too soon. It’s the Goddamn comedy club; this s**t happened in the front row. It didn’t happen back there. You guys are like, “Be cool dude.” Well, f**k you dude.’ he shot back. ‘You know how hard this s**t right now and the guy almost died.’
In all, D’elia did a bit on the man and his seizures for almost 15 minutes, which included the storytelling and a Q-and-A with people about the man and his condition.
He also chats with some coworkers of the dude who needed to be taken away, and they say he’s going to be fine.
It’s been 20 years and this has been the weirdest show I have ever done. Guy has a seizure in the front row and almost dies,’ the comedian revealed about midway through his 13-minute bit.
The scary incident comes four years after D’Elia was first accused of sexual assault, abuse, and harassment beginning in 2020.
In interviews with Rolling Stone, 10 women accused him of predatory behavior, four of which claimed they were teenagers when the comic allegedly preyed on them.
D’Elia is alleged to have asked the women for sexual images and videos, asked for sexual favors in exchange for free tickets to his shows, sexually solicited them on social media, tracked their locations, picked out outfits, imposed curfews and even forced some of them to get a tattoo of his initials.
In the immediate aftermath, D’Elia was dropped by his talent agents, and some of his famous friends and colleagues publicly turned against him.

He would confess to becoming addicted to sex in a video he released in 2021.
D’Elia has generally denied the claims made against him over the years, but at times has not provided direct answers to multiple detailed requests for comment on specific allegations.
One of the accusers who filed a lawsuit against D’Elia voluntarily withdrew the legal action a little over a month after it was initially filed.
He has since mounted his comeback as a stand-up comedian, and got married to his longtime partner Kristin Taylor in June 2022.
