Chloe Ferry has opened up about hitting ‘rock bottom’ on Tuesday and revealed she has been in therapy after being in a ‘dark’ place over her cosmetic surgery regrets.
The Geordie Shore star, 29, said she felt suicidal during a ‘depressing’ time of her life after finding fame at just 19-years-old on the hit MTV reality show.
Chloe quickly became a target for trolls who criticised her looks which affected her ‘mental health and confidence’ causing her to spend over £50,000 on cosmetic procedures.
The TV personality recently checked herself into hospital and is now working on rebuilding her life as she admitted she felt so low she ‘didn’t want to be here’.
Speaking on Paul C Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast, Chloe emotionally said: ‘I’ve been seeing a therapist. I always doubt myself and look in the mirror and say I don’t look nice today. I’m very mean to myself and I need to give myself a break.
‘I felt like I was going through depression.’

The Geordie Shore star, 29, said she felt suicidal during a ‘depressing’ time of her life after finding fame at just 19-years-old on the hit MTV reality show
She continued: ‘The main thing is I want to love myself again. I’ve been rock bottom where I’ve felt I didn’t want to be here, that’s how bottom I was.
‘I get scared of going back to that mindset, it was dark. I can’t go back to feeling like that.’
Chloe admitted that her cosmetic surgery was a ‘mistake’ as she was constantly trying to achieve ‘perfection’ because she felt ‘insecure and ugly’.
She said: ‘Listen, I hold my hands up – I made a mistake. I got surgery because I was insecure and felt ugly. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t have done it.
‘Surgery is a dark hole. You always want more – but what is perfection? It doesn’t exist. I was trying so hard to make people like me and stop the nasty comments, but I lost myself along the way.
‘I’ve wasted my 20s chasing some girl I wasn’t born to be. I’m broken and I’m going to fix myself.’
Now, as she approaches 30, Chloe is determined to embrace the real her and find happiness.
She continued: ‘I don’t want to be known for having a big arse.

‘I want to go back to being the funny Chloe who doesn’t worry about what she looks like. That’s where my happiness is.’
Chloe previously revealed she has spent over £50,000 on cosmetic procedures, which have included two nose jobs, liposuction and breast augmentation.
Less invasive procedures also include an eyebrow lift, dental veneers, dermal cheek fillers and Botox
Last June, Chloe revealed the results of her procedure to fix a botched surgery scar on her face, after admitting the damage ‘ruined her life.’
The TV personality had been left with a large identation after a poorly-performed ‘fox eye facelift’ in 2022, but has now proudly showed off the results of treatment to fade the mark.
Taking to Instagram, Chloe showcased her smoother skin in a side by side comparison picture, expressing gratitude to @jsmithaesthetics for treating her skin.
Three years ago, Chloe opened up on the huge impact that her botched ‘fox eye’ lift had on her life, revealing that that she had been ‘going through hell’ since the procedure.
She shared her distress over the visible scar and dent she had been left with, and issued a stark warning to followers about the potential risk of surgery.

She said: ‘Listen, I hold my hands up – I made a mistake. I got surgery because I was insecure and felt ugly. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t have done it. Surgery is a dark hole. I was trying so hard to make people like me, I lost myself along the way

Referring to former Big Brother housemate Ryan Ruckledge who underwent the same procedure and had a similar experience, she wrote in 2022: ‘Hi guys I’ve been putting this off for a bit now but after seeing Ryan going on This Morning to speak about the fox eye trend I feel like I need to tell everyone about my experience and what has happened to myself.
‘I had the same procedure as Ryan done seven months ago and still to this day I’m left with terrible scars on my face which may never go away.
‘I’m seeing this procedure becoming increasingly more and more popular. This may not happen to everyone but as I’m left with scars seven months later I just wanted to take to social media just to let everyone know what had happened to myself.’
She then showed her followers what it looked like after she had it done, adding: ‘I now have a dint in the side of my face.’
Chloe went on to reveal the difficulties she faced, including hospital treatments and medication after she underwent the controversial £800 cosmetic procedure and told fans: ‘I have been through hell with it, I have been to hospital, I have been on tablets.’
And despite her family insisting she didn’t need the procedure, Chloe went ahead with the treatment anyway and as a result hugely regrets the decision, which she describes as one of the ‘biggest mistakes’ of her life.
The fox eye lift, also known as the fox eye threat lift, raises the edges of the brows using a soft PDO (polydioxanone) threat, aiming to recreate the look of the surgical fox eye lift without the need for an operation.
In November 2023, the reality star told her followers she was attempting to return her lips to their original shape.
She took to her Instagram Story to show her plump pout with numbing cream ahead of the procedure which takes just 2-4 hours to dissolve.
In October 2020, she underwent breast reduction surgery in Turkey to balance out her slimmer frame following a two-stone weight loss.
Taking to Instagram, she unveiled her new look and snapped a selfie of her bandaged chest.

She previously opened up about how trolls criticising her appearance affected her ‘mental health and confidence’ causing her to spend over £50,000 on cosmetic procedures

Chloe admitted she was ‘naive and vulnerable’ as she was offered surgeries while still a teenager which she went through with as she believed it would ‘solve all my problems’

Now she has revealed she is ‘correcting’ her botched surgeries and she wants to educate fans so they don’t make the same ‘mistakes’ she has
She explained: ‘I’ve just woke up, guys, from my boob surgery.
‘I’m not even in a lot of pain, and honestly, I can’t tell you how well I have been looked after here. I can’t wait to see them.’
A representative for Chloe told MailOnline at the time: ‘Following on from Chloe’s dramatic 2 stone weight loss this year, Chloe will be flying to Turkey on Saturday 3rd October 2020 for a one week stay to have breast reduction surgery to suit her new slimmer figure.
‘Chloe will be visiting the Comfort Zone surgery clinic in Istanbul to have reduction surgery as Chloe feels that a smaller implant will complement her new slimmer figure.
‘Chloe has been training hard with a strong gym regime this year not only for weight purposes but to help maintain a healthy and positive mind-set.’
