Cher is reportedly in talks to work on a Netflix series about her life and career.
The 79-year-old entertainer — currently enjoying a 40-year age gap romance — would be the subject of a seven-episode show potentially premiering on the streamer in 2026.
According to The Sun, she is in the ‘advanced stages of talks’ of a series that would be called Sharing Her Story.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Cher’s reps for comment but hasn’t yet received a response.Â
The hour-long episodes would reportedly be released in conjunction with the second part of the singer’s memoir, the first portion of which was published in November 2024.
A source claimed to the publication: ‘Cher has been in talks with Netflix for months and, finally, the deal is as good as done.’

The insider told The Sun: ‘They have agreed to a seven-part series which will delve into the highs and lows of her life.
‘It’s said to be worth £13million [about $17 million] and the project is tentatively called Sharing Her Story — with the pun fully intended,’ they claimed.
In her memoir, Cher details what her marriage to the late Sonny Bono was like, alleging that he ‘manhandled’ her at times and at one point ‘seriously thought about’ killing her.
She wrote that she felt trapped in the marriage from 1969 to 1975, which produced their son Chaz Bono.
The exes shot to fame in the ’60s by performing as pop duo Sonny & Cher, and they went on to star in an eponymous variety show in the 1970s.
Cher married Gregg Allman on June 30, 1975, four days after her divorce from Sonny was finalized. She filed paperwork to end her first marriage in February 1974.
She and her second husband — the co-founder The Allman Brothers Band who died in 2017 at 69 — welcomed son Elijah Blue in 1976.Â
Elijah has struggled with addiction throughout his life, and over the summer the 49-year-old musician was discharged from the hospital following a drug overdose.

During the sit-down conversation, she opened up about her three-year relationship with the music executive.
‘We laugh all the time, you know? I just love him,’ she gushed about her much-younger beau.
When it comes to critics of the unlikely pairing, the singer had one word: ‘Whatever.’
She emphasized, ‘They’re not living my life. Nobody knows what goes on between us, but we just have a blast.’
Cher will next take the stage as the musical act on Saturday Night Live on December 20.Â
