The 51-year-old comedian only recently discovered that the prior owners were none other than controversial US secretary of health and human services RFK Jr. and his third wife Hines.
'I know that is laughable. You can laugh at me. I didn't know I was buying it from RFK Jr. because it was a blind trust,' Handler said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday.
'The house feels like I bought it from RFK Jr. It took me four years to move in. So there [were] a lot of problems with the house. I blame him.'
The host joked that the 72-year-old environmental lawyer's former house infected her with 'chlamydia, measles and herpes.'
'They sent me a note after I moved in,' Handler continued.
