Katie Holmes was spotted arriving back on Broadway after spending Thanksgiving with her daughter Suri Cruise.
The 45-year-old actress — who recently made heads turn during an appearance on The Tonight Show — appeared to be in good spirits ahead of Friday evening’s performance of Our Town, the Pulitzer-prize winning play.
Her smile beamed as she bundled up in a black winter coat paired with a blue sweater and dark slacks.
She teamed her look with a denim cap and designer sunglasses while carrying a chic white purse, letting her brunette locks cascade over her shoulders.
The actress kept warm with a cup of Starbucks coffee while enjoying her walk to the Big Apple theater.
Holmes’ sighting comes a day after winding down with her 18-year-old daughter who returned to her mum’s New York home for the Thanksgiving break after her first semester at Carnegie Mellon University.

The 18-year-old’s famous father Tom Cruise is reportedly funding her attendance at the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania university.
Despite the Top Gun star’s financial support, he has not been seen with his daughter in more than a decade amid claims of an estrangement.
However Suri enjoys a warm bond with Katie, whom she was seen visiting in the Big Apple just last month during her fall break from college.
Now, the showbiz legacy is back in the city that never sleeps to ring in the start of the holiday season with her mother — the teenager found time for a solo outing in the outer boroughs on Wednesday, surfacing in Brooklyn.
The Toledo, Ohio native was spotted that same day heading to Broadway’s Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where she is continuing her run in a revival of Our Town.
Katie began previews for Our Town on September 17, with the production officially opening on October 10.
The show originally ran on Broadway in 1938 and became an instant classic of the American stage, winning the Pulitzer Prize For Drama.
Narrated by a stage manager, the groundbreakingly meta play revolves around New Hampshire village life at the dawn of the 20th century.
Amid a Spartan stage set, characters break the fourth wall, travel backwards in time and even return from beyond the grave.
During Wednesday’s appearance on The Tonight Show, the actress opened up about her pre-show rituals and what exactly she does to prep for her performance on Our Town.

Holmes revealed that prior to every show, she makes a mandatory stop to a specific Starbucks location on Eighth Avenue in New York City.
‘They’re so lovely,’ the actress said of the baristas at the location. ‘Every time I go in, they know me and I know them, and they wish me a great show.’
The actress also revealed that upon her arrival to the theatre, she runs her lines at least two more times after already reading through them ‘about three times at home.’
She added: ‘One time I didn’t do it, and I was in the middle of a scene and I just said the whole line except the last word. I couldn’t remember it, and I made something up, but it didn’t make sense.’
