Chase Chrisley Accuses Savannah of Widening Rift with Brother Grayson

A rift has erupted amongst brothers Chase and Grayson Chrisley.

On the latest episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, the siblings revealed the depth of their deteriorated relationship – with the duo even pulling the plug on filming a scene in which they caught up over golf.

According to Chase, sister Savannah, 28, may be to blame for the fracture – but Grayson says his older brother has not been contributing to the family amidst their parents’ incarceration.

The issue came to light at the beginning of the latest episode, with Grayson, 19, admitting he found similarities in his relationship with Chase, 29, and the one their their father Todd Chrisley has with his brother Randy.

‘My issue is I see a lot of the same things with me and Chase as I saw with my dad and his brother,’ Grayson said.

‘You know, we don’t really talk to him much ’cause my dad was always having to bail him out of stuff. And you know, just tried to help him his whole life, and you know, same thing we say about Chase, you can’t help somebody who doesn’t wanna help themselves,’ he said, at one point in the show also saying his brother ‘lives in his own world.’

Chase, meanwhile, attributed the tension between them to his sister Savannah.

‘I don’t get to see Grayson as often as I’d like to. I feel like Savannah’s kind of driven a little wedge there,’ Chase said in a confessional.

‘But I mean, I’m looking forward just to go hit some golf balls, have a good time, and ask him about college and how he’s been doing, and we’ll see how it goes,’ he added.

While at golf, the brothers acknowledged a recent ‘awkward’ family dinner – and Grayson encouraged his brother try out therapy.

‘I want to be able to go to a family dinner -and it not be awkward,’ Chase said.

‘It all starts with just bettering yourself, which helps everybody, including you, in the process. Go to therapy,’ Grayson said. ‘I was against it at first.’

But Chase was resistant to counseling: ‘Grayson, you know how I feel about that.’

‘Chase, I didn’t want to do it either. Until I realized it helps,’ his brother replied.

Chase continued: ‘I’m not, like, against therapy. I think therapy works for some people. I just don’t think that I’m gonna be one of those people.’

Grayson proceeded to criticize his brother for allegedly failing to pick up the slack in the family during their parents incarceration (Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to prison after they were convicted of orchestrating a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion scheme but have since been released following a pardon by President Trump).

‘For two and a half years, I took Chloe to school every day, picked her up, did my school, played ball,’ Grayson said.

‘Every time I’ve text Savannah or call Savannah, half the time, I don’t even get a response,’ Chase replied.

And Chase insisted he wasn’t the ‘monster’ his sister had been making him out to be.

‘I know Savannah’s trying to paint me out to be this big, bad monster that’s not there for their family, but that’s just not the case. I want to be there for my family. I want us to actually have a family dynamic and a family relationship,’ Chase insisted.

But Grayson said: ‘I mean, there was one time he said he was gonna cook dinner for us and never showed up. Not a text, not a call, nothing. At the time everybody needed him most, he didn’t step up. My high school years that I had that I should have spent having fun, I spent helping raise a ten-year-old at the time while still raising myself.’

Grayson also alleged his brother was more motivated by ‘the cameras’ to repair their relationship rather than a true sincere desire to fix things.

‘What Chase also doesn’t say is he called and said, made it seem like it was this heartfelt thing, that he wanted to rekindle the relationship. And he goes, “You know, we just really need to get along better for the show.” He does everything for the cameras,’ Grayson alleged.

But Chase believes his brother has been influenced by their sister: ‘He’s under the little Savannah umbrella, he’s gonna say what he thinks Savannah’s gonna want him to say,’ he said in his confessional.

Grayson and Chase did not reach a resolution by the end of the episode, with the siblings even getting the show’s producer involved to terminate the scene.

‘I’m about to get mad and leave, just so you know,’ Chase appeared to be telling producer. ‘I’m over it.’

‘We’re not getting anywhere with this,’ Grayson also told the crew. ‘I told you what was gonna happen, and when I told you was gonna happen, this happened.’

Chase admitted he wouldn’t have ‘a family’ if his parents were to pass.

‘At the end of the day, tomorrow’s not promised. When my parents pass away, us three, we’re all that we have. If that were to happen today….I mean, I wouldn’t have a family,’ he said.
