Charlotte Crosby has shared a health update with her Instagram followers from her hospital bed on Wednesday after being rushed to A&E earlier this week.
The TV personality, 33, posted a ‘disgusting’ snap of her infected tonsils which was the cause of the illness and had left her unable to eat, drink or get out of bed.
Taking to her Instagram Stories she captioned the photo: ‘This was actually on Tuesday I’ve got a video now of the whole tonsil covered in white puss with huge black delves all over! I don’t think I can share it as it’s pretty DISGUSTING.’
‘Defiantly [sic] felt better! This has been a torturous week! Drs, then A&E then to be sent home and low and behold got worse and worse! The pain not being able to eat or drink! Not even get out of bed!’
Charlotte, who shares 20-month-old daughter Alba with fiancé Jake Ankers continued: ‘The fevers and full body aches. I’ve never been wiped out like this! And the pains in my throat’.

‘But I’m finally in the right place! And everyone here has been absolutely amazing! I will never forget the amazing man who put my canula in today l’m terrified of needles and on Tuesday it took about 4/5 attempts to get bloods and the canula in!’
‘And this man sent from the heavens did it first time and completely pain free! He made me feel so at ease! Been sleeping most of the day and I’m terribly missing alba and Jake, But the new update is I’ve been admitted!’.
On Wednesday Charlotte posted a snap of herself and mother Leticia waiting to see a doctor following her dash to hospital.
Writing: ‘2 hospitals, 4 attempts at taking bloods, 2 attempts at fitting a canula and 7 hours later. I’m home with finally the right medication and the first lot given intravenously.’
‘A very very long night last night! My poor mam is also so poorly with a viral infection and can’t even open one eye anymore and she stayed with me the whole time we are both resting up today.’
She then revealed her mother was equally under the weather writing: ‘She’s a very poorly mama. She’s got viral infection and I’ve got bacterial. Both in the wars thank god albas in nursery today because Jake’s working in London’.
Charlotte recently returned from Australia where she’d been filming upcoming Geordie Shore spin-off show, Aussie Shore.
She has dabbled in Australian showbiz before, appearing on I’m A Celebrity Australia in 2020 and The Masked Singer Australia in 2023.

In April, Charlotte said on Instagram of her fiancé Jake: ‘Can’t wait to marry you. Don’t know what I’d do without you Jakey, my absolute rock!

The couple went public with their relationship in January 2022 and got engaged in November the following year after Jake popped the question in a romantic rooftop proposal in Dubai.
Charlotte and Jake first met in 2015 when Jake asked for a photo with Charlotte and soon started casually dating.
