Charlotte Crosby has admitted her fiancé Jake Ankers was ‘devastated’ by the idea of having another daughter after his shocked gender reveal reaction.
The Geordie Shore legend, 34, already has two-year-old Alba Jean with fiancé Jake Ankers and claimed was disappointed to learn another little girl was on the way.
Charlotte explained how she filmed her gender reveal for her upcoming show, Charlotte In Sunderland, but Jake did not hide his emotions.
She told The Mirror: ‘He wanted a boy so bad. I don’t want to ruin his reaction – because it was a big one, but we’re filming a TV show at the minute and we filmed the whole gender reveal, so I don’t want to give too much away, but he was devastated.’
Insisting he has now warmed up to the idea of having a second daughter, Charlotte said: ‘Now, he’s come round to the idea, so it’s all good!’

Jake initially caused a stir when he took to social media to jokingly vent after the gender reveal had taken place.
He wrote on Instagram: ‘Ahh s***! Here we go again!’
In October, Charlotte admitted that she had been hoping it was a little boy as well and she was shocked to discover she was expecting daughter number two.
Taking to Snapchat Charlotte shared a clip as the couple, who were on holidays in The Maldives, took to the beach with their daughter and set off coloured cannons to learn the news.
After pink smoke emerged a stunned Charlotte exclaimed: ‘Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh no, Jake’ as his partner wrapped his arms around her saying: ‘It’s fine’.
Flummoxed, she went on: ‘I can’t believe it, But I actually really wanted a boy as well. What, how?’.
She previously told The Mirror: ‘I’ve had a boy vibe from the beginning. I just woke up one day and thought, ‘I’m having a boy.’ I can’t wait to have this baby – and now I’m at 21 weeks, I can finally talk about it!’
‘If I do have a boy, I’m going to be so excited to see Jake’s reaction because he would absolutely love to have a boy’.
‘He has wished for this all of his life – he would just want a little boy to be able to take to football and do all of the boy things with. So if we have a boy, I’d be so happy for Jake.’

Charlotte has teased that she was filming his ‘big reaction’ for her series Charlotte In Sunderland and he has taken the time to accept things.

She said: ‘I’m so ready to have this baby now. I can’t wait. I’ve been throwing up all morning! I was still being sick right up until I had my first baby.
‘It’s been the same this time.
‘I actually hadn’t been sick for about three weeks, and I thought it was over – but then, wow, this morning it hit me like a ton of bricks.’
