Charlotte Crosby broke down in tears as she proudly revealed what gives her mother, Letitia, purpose in life after being diagnosed with cancer twice.
The former Geordie Shore star, 35, whose mother, Letitia, 56, beat breast cancer in 2022, faced further turmoil with her health last month as she discovered she has skin cancer.
However, in a new interview, Charlotte revealed that her mother is now cancer-free and became emotional as she discussed how her mother is the reason behind her fashion brand Pepper Girls Club.
Charlotte, who set up her company in 2019, invested £300,000 into her small business venture until COVID-19 hit, and she struggled like many other businesses in the UK.
However, yesterday the brand achieved its first sellout launch to date, according to The Sun.
Over the past few years, the mother-daughter duo have fought on to make the business a success – but Charlotte has done it for one special reason.

She told The Sun: ‘I purely did it for my mum. My mum’s my best friend, so when she was made redundant, I wanted to be able to build something with my mum to keep her in a job and just to give her a bit of an easier life than having to go back into a full-time job.’
The star added that she saw the fashion brand as an amazing opportunity for herself and her mother.
However, when COVID-19 hit, all of her work came to a halt, and she realised she needed to take things more seriously.
So, she began designing items herself, but her mother was then sadly diagnosed with breast cancer.
Discussing how working with her on the brand gave her mother purpose, Charlotte added: ‘Throughout her breast cancer journey and her chemotherapy, she always came into work, she always wanted to (be) involved in every launch that we did, and she was so excited.’
Charlotte added that she realised it was the brand that kept her mother going, and it was like she had forgotten about what she was going through.
She also noted to the publication that her mother was ‘full of life’ and had a ‘spark’ in her, so she wanted to keep pushing the brand for her.
As Charlotte continued to speak proudly about her mother, she became emotional before revealing: ‘Now my mum is cancer free and she’s literally loving her life in the warehouse, picking and packing.’

The joyful news comes after Charlotte’s mother, Letitia, announced she had been diagnosed with skin cancer last month.
Taking to Instagram at the time, the Geordie Shore star’s heartbroken mother told her 130k followers she was told she had cancer on her face just hours before jetting off on holiday, from where she announced her news.
She said: ‘I had a bit of a shock, I went to the hospital about three hours before I was due to board a plane and found out I have skin cancer on my face…
‘It is not great and certainly not what I wanted to hear either, as I do actually wear factor 50. Obviously, I am gutted.’
Letitiia shared an up-close image of the side of her face with the caption over the top reading: ‘This is basically on a little post of aoen news I wasn’t expecting before I 3 hours before I boarded a flight [sic]’.

There are three types of skin cancer. Each can present itself in different ways. These include moles that are either asymmetrical or abnormal, scaly or dark patches and waxy bumps on the surface of the skin
In February 2023, Charlotte was supported by her fans after she shared her reaction to finding out her mother, Letitia, had first been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Charlotte was pregnant with her first child, Alba Jean, when she found out the shocking news about her mother in late 2022.
Speaking to her friend while filming her BBC reality show, Charlotte In Sunderland, she said inbetween tears: ‘She’s got breast cancer, Lauren, she’s a mess.’
She later said in a piece-to-camera: ‘It’s hit us like a ton of bricks. She only went for a routine mammogram. There were no signs and no symptoms, so the diagnosis has been a massive shock.’
Charlotte announced her mother had been diagnosed with the disease, just weeks before she welcomed Alba Jean with her boyfriend, Jake Ankers.
The TV personality confessed she was devastated to learn her mother had cancer just weeks after discovering she was pregnant with her first child.
Charlotte, who was eight months pregnant, revealed Letitia had no symptoms or lumps and admitted she refused to believe her mother’s diagnosis at first. Just days after the diagnosis, the TV star found her own lump, but was given the all-clear.
Letitia explained: ‘It was just a routine mammogram, I have never missed one. When they told me it was cancer, I was floored.’
Charlotte and her family have been a strong support system for Letitia, who underwent four biopsies before surgery to remove her tumour and reconstruct her breast after being diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago
‘It was so difficult to tell Charlotte I had cancer. We had all the happy news a couple of months before that she was having the baby.
Charlotte and her family have been a support system for Letitia, who had to undergo four biopsies before surgery to remove her tumour and reconstruct her breast.
Just days after Charlotte learned the news about her mother, she found a lump in her own breast.
She said: ‘I became so much more aware of my own body. And then I found a lump literally just after mum was diagnosed. I went to get it checked out straight away. Luckily, it was nothing bad.’
Charlotte explained how she tried to reassure her mother that everything would be fine because she was ‘adamant’ that it wouldn’t be cancer.
The former Geordie Shore star said: ‘When she called and told us it was cancer, I said “No, it’s not”. She was like, “No, I have been told it is cancer”. But I still didn’t believe it because I was so adamant it could not be that.’
Letitia has now had surgery to remove a tumour and went on to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy to rid her body of any remaining cancerous cells.
