So when Club Random host Bill Maher told the 60-year-old nepo baby of Martin Sheen on Monday that he believed the 54-year-old Bond Girl ‘obviously still loves you’ – he smiled and responded: ‘Yeah.’
Charlie beamed as he recalled how Denise called him ‘a little shy’ and ‘a little bit old-fashioned’ when she was interviewed for his new Netflix doc, AKA Charlie Sheen.
‘She said, “He’s not at all what people think,”‘ the 69-year-old Real Time host added during their 140-minute conversation.
Sheen (born Carlos Estévez) replied: ‘Yeah, it was nice to hear that. Yeah…I remember it well.’
Bill went on to laugh about Richards’ ‘sincere blubbering’ in Andrew Renzi’s two-part docuseries where she got ’emotional’ discussing their divorce ‘because it was a lot and I’ve had to f***ing hold it together’ for their two daughters.

Charlie remains estranged from their 21-year-old daughter Sami but he’s close with their 20-year-old daughter Lola, whom they welcomed during their two-year marriage.
‘I believe in destiny. I wouldn’t have Sami and Lola if it weren’t for him,’ the Wild Things star said in her People cover story in February.
‘Despite everything we went through, we can have a sense of humor about all the s*** we went through.’
Sheen is nearly eight years sober and he’s remained celibate since being diagnosed with HIV a decade ago.
Bill later recommend the former Hollywood bad boy watch Richard Curtis’ 2003 Christmas blockbuster Love Actually, which features a cameo from Denise.
Charlie exclaimed: ‘I think Denise is in that, isn’t she?! She’s in the very end of Love Actually, and has, like, a super memorable part. I’ve never seen it, but people love her from that movie. Or have I torpedoed this? She’s in it.’
Bill explained a bit more about Richards’ role as the ‘real friendly one’ Carla presented to Tony (Abdul Salis), and Sheen exclaimed: ‘Oh, damn. Go get it, D!’
Ironically, the Book of Sheen author appears harmless to the RHOBH alum now that she’s in the midst of a contentious divorce from her estranged second husband Aaron Phypers since Charlie ‘never hit below the belt.’

On October 17, a judge extended Denise’s temporary restraining order against the unemployed 52-year-old until November 7 and, during a break at the hearing, he was taken into custody by police.
Aaron was charged with two felony counts of injuring a spouse (back in 2022), and two felony counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat and he was released hours later on a $200K bond.
‘I have not seen the criminal complaint yet, however, based upon the little that I have been told, it appears to be the same allegations we’re already fighting and I think proving to be false in the domestic violence case,’ Phypers’ lawyer Michael Finley told People.
‘So, we expect it to also be proven false and for him to be exonerated.’
The Canadian-American ex-CEO – who has ‘no income’ – filed for divorce from Richards on July 7 after six years of marriage and requested spousal support of around $105K/month.
The Illinois-born beauty wants Aaron to pay her legal expenses and any expenses related to the alleged abuse, and she requested that he attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.
The ex-couple originally began dating in December 2017 before Phypers’ divorce from Desperate Housewives alum Nicollette Sheridan was finalized in 2018.
