Charlie Kirk Features in Kanye West’s Shocking Documentary

Charlie Kirk had a secret meeting with Kanye West prior to his death.

The conservative political activist made a posthumous appearance in the controversial rapper’s documentary, which was released just days after his murder.

Kirk was fatally shot at the age of 31 while speaking at a college event in Utah on September 10.

Just over a week after his assassination, the documentary about West showed the late podcaster secretly meeting up with him and Candace Owens to discuss culture and politics in 2018 footage.

In a short clip from the documentary, Kirk was mostly quiet while Owens and West discussed their experiences being public figures who are Black.

The movie release also comes as Owens, a political commentator who previously collaborated with Kirk, voiced her anger after being snubbed from the late political influencer’s memorial speaking roster.

That same year, West also visited the White House to pay a visit to President Donald Trump.

Kirk’s appearance was unexpected in the explosive documentary titled In Whose Name? about the Grammy-winning musician’s fall from grace.

The documentary film, which was directed and produced by Nico Ballesteros, follows the rapper’s life between 2018 and 2024 with over 3,000 worth of footage filmed over those six years.

The ‘frustrating but grimly compelling’ movie will see a number of events that hit headlines over that time and played out in his life.

The unauthorized documentary includes his divorce with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, living with bipolar disorder and his many controversial, offensive comments.

The first-time filmmaker, who has been West’s personal videographer over the years, also addressed why the clip of Kirk was included in the YouTube video.

‘It’s unfortunate, and may they rest in peace, but there are people in the film who are not longer here with us,’ Ballesteros, 26, told the New York Post about including certain cameos.

In the documentary, West seemingly expressed his fears about political violence after sharing his views.

At one point during the film, the fashion designer behind Yeezy wore a Make America Great Again hat and said he was worried about his safety after showing support for President Trump.

In one clip, he was en route to the Capital and called Trump’s then advisor Jared Kushner about a private entrance as a foreign dignitary would be allowed to do at the White House.

‘I’m not going to step outside,’ West insisted.

‘I’m not going to put my life in danger. I put my life in danger by wearing the [MAGA] hat, and I need to be loved and respected as such.’

He added: ‘If I get killed wearing the hat in front of the White House, you’re not gonna win any midterms.

West was then heard yelling into his phone: ‘Listen! Finish listening to me and hear me!’

And later in the documentary, West seemingly shows regret on getting involved in politics so publicly.

The musician, who said he would run for president at one point, was also shown arguing with his then-wife Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner about taking his medication for his bipolar diagnosis.

He and Kardashian share four children and went on to get divorced in 2022.

In the documentary, West said that after much thought he decided to back away from politics and put his energy into his creative passions instead.

He said politics created ‘too much noise’ in his life and affected his loved ones.

Less than two years later, West announced his presidential campaign.

The unauthorized documentary, In Whose Name?, premiered in select theaters on Friday, September 19.
