Married At First Sight star Bronte Schofield was in talks to appear on this year’s season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The former MAFS bride, 29, who was paired with Harrison Boon on last year’s series, was offered a ‘five figure’ sum to appear on the Channel 10 show, but was stopped by rival Nine due to her contractual agreement.
Nine’s strict contract conditions clearly state that cast members are not allowed to appear on any other reality shows for 12 months.
Bronte has been sharing her frustration with fellow MAFS contestants, especially after Domenica Calarco, who appeared on the show in 2022, entered the South African jungle on I’m A Celebrity last year.
Sources close to Bronte said the bride is ‘super angry and pi**ed off’ about the decision.

‘She considered going full rogue and appearing on the show, but was worried it wasn’t going to be a good look and Channel Nine would legally come after her,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia.
Bronte told Daily Mail Australia that I’m a Celebrity wasn’t the only show Nine prevented her appearing on.
‘They wanted me to do that and Celebrity Amazing Race with my sister Kirra, but that was due to her contract [with Love Island Australia],’ she explained.

‘There’s been a few offers for shows just been about timing and contracts.
‘I think the reason (this is just what I heard) was Domenica just went ahead and did it anyway and didn’t get permission from Nine and they were really mad (apparently).’
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Nine for comment.
