Channel 5 bosses have announced The Gadget Show is coming off-air, after nearly two decades on screens.
The beloved show saw a number of hosts – including Jason Bradbury, Pollyanna Woodward, Rachel Riley and Jon Bentley – showcase the latest technological devices from all over the globe over the space of 37 series, first launching in 2004.
Bosses revealed the programme is being replaced by a new show called Shop Smart, Save Money, which will be hosted by Angellica Bell alongside previous Gadget Show hosts Ortis Deley, Georgie Barrat and Jon Bentley.
Earlier this year, The Gadget Show was given a new name, The Good Gadget Guide: Shop Smart, Save Money, however the format has not survived and will instead be replaced with the show which kicks off on Friday 29 September at 7pm.
A statement from the channel read: ‘We understand that change can sometimes be met with mixed reactions, and we appreciate the feedback we have received from our viewers.

In 2017, Red Dwarf and Coronation Street star Craig Charles was one of many stars recruited to host the show – much to his own shock.
At the time, he said: ”Have they lost their brains?They approached me and asked if I’d be interested and I was. Because it’s a great show, it’s something I’m really interested in and enthusiastic about, it’s a new adventure for me…
‘I’ve not presented for years, not since Robot Wars, and that was just playing a character, I was being the master of mayhem!’
His stint was alongside Georgie and regulars Jon and Ortis.
