For years the celebrity world has been chasing the secret to eternal youth. 

Now there's a new procedure that they're turning to - the non-surgical facelift - and the stars haven't been afraid to show off the incredible results. 

NeoGen is a non-invasive procedure that uses super-heated nitrogen gas to stimulate skin rejuvenation. 

It creates a controlled heating which tricks the skin into creating large amounts of collagen and elastin, proteins found in the body which give skin its youthful appearance. 

Dr Johanna Ward explained: 'NeoGen is unique because it doesn't just treat the surface of the skin – it penetrates deeper layers, triggering natural regeneration.

Yet, costing £4,950 the procedure is by no means cheap, and it requires commitment, sometimes lasting years of repeated treatments. 

So which celebs are championing the treatment for the reason they look 10 years younger?

The Strictly Come Dancing head judge, 65, admitted she feels 20 years younger as she showed off the results of £4,400 worth of high-tech aesthetic procedures including a course of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments from top Harley Street doctor, Dr Johanna Ward. 

Since the start of 2025 Shirley underwent a course of six NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments at the W1 Skin Clinic, in London. 

The procedure is completely non-invasive and works by tricking the body into producing high levels of collagen and elastin, key proteins that create youthful and radiant skin.

It's not the first time Shirley has used these treatments but she explained how the results have been life-changing. 

She said: 'I never thought at 65 I would feel the way I feel about myself. When I hit 60, I was dreading the inevitable decline of my appearance, I had dark blotches on my skin, my skin looked tired, jowls were starting to fall, and I started to panic so I started to research all the different treatments that one can do.'

Looking at her before and after treatment pictures, Shirley said: 'Now when I look in the mirror, I see this fresh face. It's not a little difference. It's a huge difference. 

'I find my jawline is more defined. I don't have all those spots all over my face. My skin looks brighter. There's not a mark on my forehead. And my neck looks so much better. I mean, I think that's impressive.'

Shirley continued: 'I think my investment within Neogen and Dr Johanna Ward has been worth it I've become a little bit of an addict to my NeoGen treatments, as well as taking my collagen supplements, and the skin creams that Dr Ward has prescribed. 

'I feel like my skin could probably pass for around 45, and I'm really proud that I stuck to my regime and that I treated myself.'

She added: 'It's not cheap but I think it's a worthwhile investment in yourself. Before I started having these treatments, I was really getting down because my skin was sagging. My jawline wasn't defined. I was really getting myself in a place where I didn't feel great about myself. 

'I thought, that's it now, you're over the hill, but now when I look in the mirror, I see this fresh face and my confidence has been restored, and so it's been worth every penny.'

Committing to seven months of procedures, the professional dancer looked younger than ever as she showcased her transformation gushing that she felt more 'confident' and ready to appear on the upcoming series of Strictly which was about to start at the time. 

Shirley revealed: 'I was on Instagram posting pictures of myself celebrating my 65th birthday with my mum a week ago and several women made rude comments saying, "your mum looks amazing but of course you've had so much work done Shirley, facelifts and all".

'Well, I need to set the record straight here – I haven't had any surgical facelifts of any kind, at any time. I mean, you can tell I've got no stitches or scars.'

Linda Lusardi, 67

A year prior to Shirley's treatment, former glamour model Linda Lusardi also made the decision to have six months of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments and said she 'couldn't believe' the results.

The star, now 67, felt '10 years younger' after the £3,850 non-surgical face lift after admitting she was feeling 'depressed' about her 'jowls' and wanted to rejuvenate her face and neck.

She said: 'As I was approaching my 66th birthday I started to feel my face was looking tired and old looking. 

'So when I'd wake up in the morning I would see that my face was sagging. It's a family trait to get these "chollers", that's what we call them, the jowly bits of fatty skin hanging down from the jawline.'

Linda, who shot to fame as a glamour model in the 80s, said she felt her face and neck were looking 'saggy'.

'I could see my jawline softening and I was getting more lines around my eyes and it was just a bit depressing really, and I just thought I needed to get something to make my skin look fresher and brighter,' she said.

'Ageing is a process that we all go through but if you can hold it back and have it look natural, then why not?'

Linda was prescribed a course of six monthly 45-minute NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments. 

She was also given Tenplus electrolyte sachets to increase skin hydration before and after treatments as well as G Herbal SKIN supplements, which contain high concentrations of Centella Asiatica and turmeric,a ZENii antioxidant serum and a Protocol collagen drink, to help boost results from the treatments. 

After seeing her before and after snaps she said: 'I didn't realise quite how bad I was just six months ago. It's incredible my whole face feels lifted and tightened, my skin has more plumpness to it, it's just got a better complexion completely. 

'I feel it's taken years off me and several people have commented saying "how old are you?" and they just don't believe I'm 66.'

She explained:  'It's basically tricking nature into repairing itself, we lose collagen in our skin from such an early age, and especially after the menopause, and I'm well past that, so mine was down to about 10 per cent of what it used to be in my early 20s by now.'

And the good news is it isn't even that painful. After applying numbing cream she revealed its really no more painful than having your eyebrows plucked.'

The former model revealed she had low energy treatments and felt that the effects looked a bit like 'sunburn' and there was some 'crusting and drying' before the skin went back to normal.  

'My friends and family noticed after just one treatment, and I hadn't told them I was having NeoGen, it was quite unbelievable,' she remarked.

'I've now had the full six, and my skin is like a different person, it's so tight and so plump.

'The results are completely off the chart and phenomenal so 100 per cent I'm going to keep them up. I'm actually quite terrified at the thought of stopping having them.'

'Then you come to the texture of my skin, and reduction of my pores, now it looks soft as anything and the colour is uniform, so there are four major things that are demonstrably improved.'

The actress added proudly: 'I can definitely say I look like I'm in my mid 50s, so yeah, I'm happy with that, ten years younger.'

Leslie, also accompanied her treatment with a regular aid of supplements Ameri-Vita.

'I'm absolutely going to keep having these treatments,' she assured, 'The results are so good, I can't imagine stopping now.'

Tamzin Outhwaite, 55

Speaking candidly about her journey, Tamzin shared the results while staying true to her conviction to avoid cosmetic surgery.

She continued: 'I definitely didn't want to go under the knife. I didn't want any form of face-lift, and I'm extremely wary of having injectables because I'm an actor and I need to have an expressive face. 

'It's essential for me to have a natural look, not a frozen face, but I was still keen to find out alternative ways to improve my appearance and a friend advised me to give NeoGen a try. 

'After doing a bit of research, I could see that Shirley Ballas had got an amazing result with these treatments and now looks about 10 years younger, so I thought I'd give it a go.'
