Lauren Simon reveals Simon Cowell promised to make her a famous singer in her 20s in Wednesday night’s upcoming episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 51, shares the story with Simon’s former X Factor colleague Louis Walsh, 71, as they get to know each other.
She says to Louis in the bedroom: ‘I’ll tell you a great story. I was 23 and I lived in London and I was going out with this playboy.
‘I was at the VIP table drinking champagne and Simon [Cowell] was there and he worked for RCA records at the time.
‘He came over to give me his card. I had a gold dress on, dancing on the table. He wanted to make me famous as a singer.’

Louis then cheekily asks: ‘He fancied you?’
To which Lauren quips back: ‘Probably!’
Lauren then adds: ‘I’m in Barbados and I got married there. I’m walking down the beach with my ex-husband and he’s [Simon] at Sandy Lane with Sinitta.
‘He looks at me and goes ‘Lauren Stone, how are the devil are you? Are you still dancing on those tables?’
Elsewhere on the episode Gary Goldsmith is given a chance to plead for his place in the house as house lodger Sharon Osbourne comes to a verdict on who to put up for eviction.
The millionaire businessman, 58, was one of three housemates in the ‘danger zone’ and risked being picked by Sharon as one of the star’s up for elimination.
Gary, David Potts and Zeze Millz are all given a chance to explain why they should be kept in the house as they each beg her to keep them in.
Kate Middleton’s uncle admits he wants the chance to change the public’s perception of him, after always being known as the ‘black sheep’ of the family.

Sharon says: ‘So, we’re going to have a nice little chat Gary. Tell me why did you accept the offer to come into the house?’
Gary says: ‘It does bother me what the public perception of me is. The black sheep of the family. I’m a normal bloke. It just so happens that my niece married Will.’
Next, Sharon speaks with David, and tells him: ‘When I first met you and I saw you with no trousers on, I was quite shocked.
‘And then when we got talking, I realised it’s your thing. Not that I’m a prude because I’m not. What did you feel like when you found out you were in the ring of fire?’
David confesses he ‘wasn’t shocked’ to be in the bottom three and claimed it is something that has happened a lot in his life.
He says: ‘I wasn’t shocked at all because I’ve had this quite a lot in my life. On first impressions, people are a bit like ‘woo, he’s just dying for attention’ when that is just not the case.’
Finally, Zeze heads to Sharon’s lair for a chat with her and Sharon says: ‘Zeze, I want to get to know you better.’
Zeze says: ‘I get a lot of backlash online because I say how I feel.’
Sharon says: ‘What do you hope will come from this show?’
Zeze adds: ‘I think it’s more about people seeing a different side of me. People think I’m this hard-headed person.’
Sharon ultimately decides on Gary as her pick for elimination. He will be joined by others nominated by the house later in the week.
Elsewhere on the episode, Marisha Wallace and Ekin-Su Culculoglu discuss the breakdown of her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti.
Ekin-Su ponders: ‘They always say to me that the man should be more into the woman. Is that true?’
The Love Island winner claims it was the ‘mistake she made’, seemingly referencing her recent split from Davide, which broke down earlier this year.

Marisha says: ‘What made you quit your relationship?’
Ekin-Su cryptically says: ‘Let’s just say he hurt me.’
The reality personality posted a statement on her Instagram page in January revealing she had been the one to call time on their relationship.
Celebrity Big Brother continues on ITV on Wednesday night at 9pm.
