Catriona Rowntree has paid a sweet tribute to her husband James Pettit as the couple mark 17 years of marriage.
The veteran presenter, 53, took to Instagram on Saturday to mark the auspicious occasion with a series of cute throwback photos.

The pair happily posed with their heads resting on each other as they sat at a restaurant table for what was to be a very auspicious occasion.

The post was met with a flurry of comments from friends and followers, with many gushing over the couple’s rock solid relationship.

Despite her glittering career in media, Catriona usually shields her private life from the spotlight, with her rarely giving interviews.
She did reveal in December, however, that she she asked her boss for ‘permission’ to marry.
Before she said ‘I do,’ the Getaway star admitted that she sought the advice of her boss, executive producer John Walsh.
The admission came as Catriona shared a heartwarming tribute to John on Instagram who is bidding a fond farewell to the long-running series Getaway after more than 30 years at the helm.
Catriona wrote that she owes her family to her former boss, admitting that she asked John’s permission to wed.
‘In fact I can thank him for my children (back down Legal Department) and the life I have today,’ she said.
‘When my farmer asked me to marry him, I didn’t say yes, I went to ask John’s permission, I feared I’d lose everything I’d built by leaving my home and head office.’
She continued: ‘But John said, “Treens, as long as you can get to an airport, I don’t care where you live!”
Speaking to 9Entertainment in 2023, Catriona revealed how she met her ‘farmer hubby’ James.

‘A lot of people ask, how did you even meet him, let alone marry him,’ she told the publication.
‘My best friend gives me a call and she says, “Catriona, I’ve met the one. His friend is having a birthday party for him and I want you to come”‘
Catriona added that her heart fluttered the first time she aw her beau at the party which was held on a huge Victorian farm.
‘I turn up looking amazing,’ she said.
‘Then out onto the verandah comes this guy and he’s got the dirt across the face, he’s got the hair going everywhere.
‘I’ve never seen anything like him in my life… and I just nudged my girlfriend and went, “I approve”‘.
